I used it at a day trip hot spring. I didn't have high expectations before going there, but I thought it was just a chance to go to a place I've admired since I was a child, and I was told it was cheaper than I expected and it wasn't crowded, so I went in.It has a nice view, and it doesn't smell like chlorine or something filthy like a swamp. I guess it's heated, but it feels clean. The temperature is appropriate. The location is really quiet. The open-air bath would have been perfect if we didn't take Madam's bath and just put our feet on and spend a lot of time chatting.Next time I'll go again, hoping there won't be any madames.

Different experience, sleeping on a futon, but I must admit that although the hotel is beautiful, with impressive surroundings, it should have a good renovation of its facilities, since the rooms smell strongly due to the type of floor and it is unpleasantGood food, excellent service and the Onsen with views of Mount Fuji and the spectacular surroundings, a well-located hotel close to the Komagatake cable car, Lake Ashi and Hakone National Park.Hotel from my point of view needs improvement

Older traditional Japanese hotel with an onsen directly attached. We had half board and a room without private sun and it was really nice. Our room was decorated in a classic Japanese style and our huge window had a perfect view of the lake and Mt. Fuji, although it was difficult to see due to the weather. Breakfast and dinner were a classic Japanese menu of high quality. Even if it didn't always suit our western palate, it was always interesting and usually tasted fantastic. The onsen itself had several baths, including an outdoor bath, and was well tempered. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that there was no real rest room for the men. One point I would like to address is the fact that it smelled very bad in the intermediate courses. This didn't bother us much as it wasn't a problem in our room, but it is something that could be fixed.Otherwise it was a great experience and a good hotel

Reserve two rooms with in-room hot springs early. A week beforehand, I received a phone call from the inn saying, ``Are you sure you want two rooms with in-room hot springs? After that, we will charge you 100% for cancellations'', so I should have confirmed the details. Two days ago, I received a message saying, ``One room was double booked. The other person was booked first, so I would like to change one room.''No matter how many times I said, ``I got a confirmation call from you a week ago,'' he kept getting nervous.Maybe they offered you a higher price than me? ! I doubt it.There was no apology even if I actually stayed there.I made a reservation more than half a year ago, more than a year in advance, and was reminded a week before...Notice the double booking two days in advance? That's impossible.By the way, this was over 10 years ago.I still have it in my roots. The public bath was an amusement park for people from a certain country who had no manners, so I wasn't allowed to enter it.

Quite laborious exchange to reserve the shuttle bus from the station to the hotel. After several messages we finally got confirmation of the reservation and when we got on the bus, the driver did not have a reservation in our name, fortunately he was very kind and agreed to take us. On arrival, I expressed my dissatisfaction and was vaguely told something that I did not understand but the hostess obviously did not want to dwell on the subject, there were people and I was clearly annoying him. The bathroom is very very dated, traces of limescale and mold on the drains. Otherwise, the view is truly splendid, the meals are very good and the staff are very kind.
