A very memorable weekend - We were delayed by one day because of a record breaking typhoon at the end of August 2024, but the team at Fugaku Gunjo were kind enough to allow us to arrive the day later and stay the full 2 nights that we paid for no extra cost. It was also memorable because we planned our engagement during our stay and in the moment Mount Fuji peaked through the clouds to witness it. The team also prepared a beautiful bouquet of flowers as requested from my fiance, even while a typhoon was happening and it would have been difficult to have them delivered. The team at Fugaku Gunjo are so wonderful and work hard to ensure every part of our stay was perfect. Thank you Sato san and team! Your efforts did not go unnoticed.I also highly commend the food. We got the half board option and my goodness the food was Michelin Star level. All the food was sourced from the local region and were so fresh and well prepared for us. Sato also took the time to explain where things are from and local specialities. The fun part was we were allowed to wear PJs or our Yukatas to the meals as we had our own dining room. The rooms were emasculate and very clean. Our view and private hot spring was directly facing Fuji. We also had great internet connectivity and could watch Netflix all day with a fully stocked fridge (which we ended up doing because our room was so comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday).Don’t hesitate to book Fugaku Gunjo. It was a truly beautiful experience!

The other day, I visited you on my birthday trip (^^)As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a concierge greeted us and carried our luggage to our room! The guy in charge gave us a clear and detailed explanation of the room! Thank you for changing the food to something I can eat since I can't eat raw fish ♡The moment I entered the room, I could smell the wood, the ceiling was high, the space was spacious, and I could see Mt. Fuji, and it was a great location (^^)♪ The luxury room was so cute! The open-air bath felt great too!Maybe it's the season when it gets cooler, but there were a lot of stink bugs at night, and they were fighting while squealing lol. That is also a good memory ^ ^The rice was delicious, and most of all, I was full and satisfied! ! ! !I was happy to have a luxurious birthday trip ♡I want to go again ^ ^

My family of four took care of me on September 13th and 14th, 2024. The room, food, and service were the best. However, I was disappointed that my loungewear was different from last time. The last loungewear I wore was very soft and comfortable. I would appreciate it if you could go back to what you had last time.

Looking at the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji while taking a bath is really an extremely happy enjoyment. The tranquility and splendor here make us feel relaxed physically and mentally, completely immersed in the beauty of nature.Special thanks to Sato-san. His kind and considerate care made us feel at home and made us super happy. Thank you very much to him 💖💖💖. We are also very grateful to Chef Tsuchiya, every dish he prepared was amazing and made our birthday holiday perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional, and from the moment we arrived they provided attentive service that made our stay an unforgettable experience.Dinner and breakfast were the highlights of this stay. The chef selects the freshest local seasonal ingredients. Each dish is not only exquisitely presented and pleasing to the eye, but also delicious and satisfying with every bite, leaving you with endless aftertaste. Whether it was sight or taste, this meal made us feel extremely happy. This trip was full of warmth and touching. Whether it was the beautiful scenery, hot springs, or delicious food, we gained many beautiful memories. We very much look forward to having the opportunity to return here again in the future and experience this rare happiness and tranquility again.

I have stayed at various inns, but I have never been charged a large cancellation fee in the event of an emergency such as a disaster. It's my first time here.Even though the Shinkansen stopped, I was told to come by the conventional line. If the safety of guests is your top priority, you should not be able to give such instructions. Even if I can arrive, will my accommodation be guaranteed if I am unable to return the next day?I think you should think about your response from a long-term perspective, rather than paying a cancellation fee based on short-term profits and losses. It would be a shame to get caught up in short-term profits and lose customers you haven't met yet. Judgments that lack the customer's perspective are noticeable, and you can't feel the hospitality at all. I will never book again.
