One of the most amazing hotel experiences. I have stayed for work and pleasure at many of the finest hotels in the world, and this gem rates near the top for a small luxury hotel. The room was excellent, immaculate, and new.  …

This is a quiet, secluded inn with 10 rooms located on a hill in Sengokuhara. They let me order whatever I wanted, including alcohol from the welcome drink, which made me feel numb, and the room was very easy to use, with storage, power supplies, amenities, the hardness of the bed, the quality of my pajamas, and plenty of water, all of which were comfortable and easy to reach! Even on the Fuji side, if it gets cloudy even a little, it will start to smoke, so if you don't have any particular preferences, a room facing the forest may be sufficient. The dishes are basically Japanese, but the bold combinations with Western ingredients kept me satisfied and I was very satisfied with the quantity, taste, and presentation. The Inari rice we had for dinner was delicious and the service was warm and it was a very pleasant stay. To be honest, it's a semi-open-air bath with a room, and it's clean and comfortable, but if you leave it running, it gets hotter and hotter, so it's a bit of a pain to adjust the temperature.

I was so stunned by the service I received at the pre-stay reservation stage that I canceled my reservation. Since I made a reservation through a certain website, I wanted to check with the hotel to make sure they had a reservation, so I asked them about it through Instagram. On Instagram, the hotel's read message was immediately displayed, but I waited a day without getting any response, and even when I contacted the hotel again via the hotel's website, I still received no response. In the end, the message I received from Instagram the next day was only ``Thank you for your reservation.'' It doesn't answer the question, and isn't it too poor to respond to a potential customer with just one word? Although they claim to be high-class, their service is so far off the mark that I have to wonder if they are a Japanese company. I'm glad I didn't have to visit.

We stayed here because it had high reviews on travel sites. The open-air bath in the guest room was very comfortable. However, I won't be staying there again, and I don't recommend it. I didn't really understand why it was rated so highly. However, the food was below expectations. The quality of each item for both dinner and breakfast was low, and although they looked beautiful, the seasoning was weak, and the menu didn't really feel special or ``special''.Despite the high cost of the inn, the quality of the food was low, making it a disappointing trip.If you value having an open-air bath in your room and don't particularly care about the food, I don't think you'll have a problem.

Zen was located in a quiet forest on a hill as I drove past the Sengokuhara Susuki Grassland. It was raining lightly that day, but the entrance made me feel very calm, immersed in a world of wabi-sabi.While enjoying a welcome drink, I could see the greenery spreading out in my field of vision and the wet deck in front of me, which felt like a luxury away from the hustle and bustle.

Outstanding service and facility. The private onsen at the semi open-air patio was definitely the highlight. I wasn’t lucky enough to get a clear view of Mt Fuji but it was the cloud to blame. 100% enjoying my stay. They would happily drive the guests to nearest station or bus stop so it wasn’t difficult to roam around Hakone. A bit of challenge when I wanted to go back to Odawara station to catch the train back to Tokyo. It was raining cats and dogs, no taxi available due to the hotel’s remote location and the best the hotel could do was to drop me at the tiny sheltered bus stop. Not a problem for me but I would book a car to go back if I have a family with small children with me.
