Use Google Maps to relieve fatigue and back pain from touring. When I searched for public baths, it seems that most of the public bathhouses that existed in Takayama have now gone out of business, and this is the only one I found. Although the streets are narrow, there are spaces where you can park your motorcycle. The indoor bath has a 41 degree bubble jet and 43 degree lavender bath, and the outdoor bath has a 38 degree salt bath and cold water bath, and you can also use the sauna for an additional fee. Perhaps because I took a relaxing bath in the hot water, my fatigue and back pain were alleviated considerably.

I didn't know where to park and the road was narrow so I gave up on using it.I think it's better to go on footI can't reach the parking lot with my driving skills.

I only used it for bathing🛀The indoor bath is a green bath with a temperature of 43 degrees and a jacuzzi with a temperature of 41 degrees. It’s hot and awesome ☺️The shower 🚿 was for 8 people, and I felt like I had to put the chairs and buckets down myself when I used them.Outdoor sauna 🔥, water bath 💦 (about 18 degrees?) and magnesium bath 🪨 (38 degrees) The Mg bath has a water depth of about 80 cm and is about 5 meters long, so you can stretch your body while entering it 🚼The floor is like a wooden deck, beautiful and quiet 🏕️Magnesium baths are great because they are good for your health through transdermal intake 🌟 If you take a bath for a long time, your skin will feel tight and you will feel a tingly magnesium sensation. When wood 🪵 burns in the sauna, it smellsThe sights, sounds, scents, temperature, and effects provide a high level of relaxation 😌

A very quaint tattoo friendly onsen with a sauna in takayama. The staff is quite friendly and it's nice to chill in the lobby after a bath. There's 2 inside baths who are both quite hot (41 and 43 degrees) so if that's not your thing go to the outside ones (one cold one and one hot but okay one). The sauna is very nice and cosy and everyone here was super nice, definitely check it out if you're in takayama !!

The sauna here is interesting. After all, lighting the fire in a wood-fired sauna is usually done by the customer. Therefore, the conditions of the sauna room often change. In response, the regulars deftly select scraps and throw them into the stove. When no one is around, the firepower decreases and the temperature drops. There is also an old man who pours too much water on his stove and ends up getting water inside the stove and almost extinguishing it.However, each time someone follows up and adjusts the conditions.Sometimes there is an old man who uses his craftsmanship to keep it in the best condition. You'd better consider it a success on that day. Also, the temperature of the water bath is perfect.Since there is a cup, it is very delicious when you pour it from the pouring nozzle and drink it.I mean, is it okay to drink this water?

A local public bath in Takayama. It was renovated a few years ago to create an outdoor space, and includes a sauna room with a MOKI wood stove, a cold bath, and an open-air bath. The capacity of the sauna room is 6 people. The wood stove's far infrared rays slowly heat it up. You can also do self-lowering.
