This was a surprising part of my Japan trip this year. My Japanese friend recommended that I spend 2 days in Atami, and I booked this hotel because it has a private onsen with an ocean view.I would say this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room is huge compared to other Japanese hotels, and it has a traditional tatami style. The view from the hotel is AMAZING. You get a 360-degree view of Atami from your room. The hotel staff are friendly, with great English communication skills, and they are willing to help with any questions. I felt very welcome right from the check-in.This hotel not only has private onsen, but also a public one. The view from the onsen is fantastic. The rooftop is a great spot to watch Atami’s annual fireworks and to chill out when you need some relaxation.A little bonus: they have a KTV room if you want to have a party at night. By the way, you can’t hear any noise from your room.About Atami:• Generally, Atami restaurants close around 9 PM, so it’s a good idea to research restaurants in advance. Making a reservation is usually better unless you don’t mind waiting in line.• English isn’t commonly spoken in Atami, but the people are very friendly. With a few polite Japanese words and some gestures, you can easily manage in restaurants.• Atami is a mountainous city, so be prepared to go up and down hills. Some of the good restaurants are on hills, so a little “hiking” before your meal adds to the experience.

The food, the room, the hot springs, everything was great. It was written in the reviews that the smell was a concern, but I was a little concerned about the elevator, but nothing else bothered me.The view from the room is also great. All the dishes were delicious, and the fruit and desserts were plentiful as well.In particular, the public bath was empty, probably because each room has an open-air bath, and the sauna had three different scents to choose from, and the open-air bath while looking out at the ocean was clean, airy, and comfortable. The only thing you have to be careful about is the parking lot, and you have to make reservations in advance and if your car is too big, you won't be able to park your car because it's a multi-storey parking lot.All of the staff are not Japanese, but they all speak good Japanese and are kind, so if you're going by car, I think it's best to call first.

1View: Sea | 35 m² (377 ft²) | Non-smoking | 2 semi-double bedsView: This is the view of the sea. Where is sea? I was looking for a sea view and made a reservation for the fireworks festival, but other than the large and high rooms 1-3 on each floor, you can't see rooms 5-11 even if you lean over, so I definitely recommend this for those who want to take this place for the fireworks festival. plug. It's confusing because there are two hotels with the same name nearby, and the rooms are expensive and not good. You can't see the TV or use the remote control from the lounge area, so it might be fine if you just want to spend your time in bed.The only good things about it were that for a Livemax, the cleaning was done well and the foreign staff were polite.

Visited in September 2020I stayed there a year ago and it was very good so I stayed here again, but this time I was disappointed.Corner room 511Even though there are hotels on the right side (mountain side), there is nothing blocking your view, so if you go naked during the day, you will be exposed.Due to various circumstances, I couldn't enter the public bath, so I decided to stay in the Live Max room to enjoy the open-air bath, but I couldn't enter until sunset. You can definitely see it at night if you don't turn down the lights.I thought it would be very dangerous to let them stay there without replacing the glass, which was also badly cracked. There was also dust on the bed board.Dinner was scheduled to start at 7:30pm for the second time, and I went there 10 minutes early, but I had to wait seated until the time was right, and then the restaurant started all at once at the command of the staff. In the past, if you went there, you would be shown to a seat and eat? It's a pity that the spiny lobster sashimi that used to be available is no longer available.I also quit replenishment pretty quickly. The alcohol sales business remains the same, and when you open the menu, the alcohol sales person will come to you.Is it a commission? lolIt's not the hotel's fault, but I don't know if it was on the floor below or in the next room, but there was someone smoking on the balcony, and when I was soaking in the open air, the smoke came around and the smell was strong.I was disappointed.I would like a refund.By the way, the multilevel parking lot at the hotel is very tight, so be careful! !It's a compact car and both sides are cut! !It is safer to go to a nearby coin park.Prices are also cheap.

It's a somewhat high-end hotel, and all guest flow lines and rooms are barrier-free. The room was on the 8th floor and had a sofa on the balcony and an open-air bath with natural hot spring water, which was very comfortable. The interior is spacious and has a luxurious feel. In addition, the public bath was well stocked with a sauna, open-air bath, and multiple baths, and the buffet in the evening and morning was delicious with a wide variety of menus. It was probably renovated, and there were some parts that were not easy to use.

The room bath was nice. Since the balcony is outside, it can't be helped, but I had a battle with a cockroach with a pattern on it. The evening buffet was delicious. I was so happy to have cassis soda! It was delicious.

It's a little far from the station, so it doesn't feel crowded. The location in front of the sea is not bad, but the ocean view from all rooms is an exaggeration. . .From the room I stayed in, I couldn't see the ocean unless I climbed out (lol)Both breakfast and dinner buffets are served on a rotating schedule, so it's not that crowded, which is good. However, it's a shame that they don't serve hot food while keeping it warm. When I took the paella, it was cold and tasteless. . .There are many restaurants in Atami, so I think it's okay to go without dinner.Overall it's not bad, but I feel like it's quite expensive on weekends. This time, I had booked an available accommodation at the last minute, so I guess I can't help it.

I don't want to add 1 at all.No matter how many times I called, they didn't answer or respond, and I felt that their language was terrible. I don't want to stay here again. The room was too dirty, and the bathtub had so much hair that it was flowing backwards. I was offered a refund, but it was only a small amount and I can only think that they were neglecting their work. Cleaning is the most basic thing. The corners are also dirty, have you cleaned them? That levelAnd how many minutes and hours are there when there is no one at the front desk? I don't think that's possible.I think there are many hotels that are cheaper and better than here, so you should go there.
