It's old but kept well cleaned. There are no noticeable stains in the bathroom either. The changing room is hot in the summer. The food is delicious, including candied stew of local amago, and the service provided by the couple is warm and gives the atmosphere of a friendly guesthouse. They kept some rice crackers and rice balls in the room (I don't know if this is always the case). Really great service. It's a 30 second walk from Hida-Hagiwara Station, so the location is good.Overall, it was a very comfortable guesthouse, so I gave it a rating of 5.

This is my first time working in Gifu, so I'm going to take advantage of the opportunity to take some footage from Gero and Takayama! I came here for half a trip. I stayed here trying to stay as cheap as possible, but overall it was a 3.5. However, the old man and the old woman are very nice people, so I raised the star to 4 lol.[Good side]⚫︎The station is right in front of you. However, there is only one every hour and a half, so if you miss it you will be in trouble. But it's great that you don't have to walk from the station.⚫︎It's an old inn, but it's relatively quiet. I was worried about the walls being thinner and the foreigners being noisy if it was cheaper, but everyone went to bed after 9pm (lol).⚫︎I chose to share a toilet in Asakusa before, and I don't want to do that again! That's what I thought, but it turned out to be pretty clean.⚫︎Obasan gives me onigiri, and both husband and wife are very nice.[Bad points]⚫︎There is no Wi-Fi (lol). It was my fault for not looking into it, but I just assumed that there was no place that didn't have it these days. However, I had some data that I really needed to send, so I forced myself to borrow some of the old man's phone. . If you're looking to run a business inn, I think just adding Wi-Fi can really improve the quality of your inn!⚫︎I was prepared to share the toilet and had disinfectant spray, but unexpectedly men and women were also sharing it. That was a little off. Also, since it's old, it's so narrow that if you sit down to avoid getting your clothes on the toilet, your knees will hit the wall. I wish I could break down the inner door and put a lock on the outer door. I want to do it!⚫︎When you put the futon on to sleep, do you see powder in your eyes? Dust? Something slammed into my eye and it hurt for a while, maybe it was powder from the wall.⚫︎I tried to open my computer, but my lower back hurt because there was no chair to lean on, so when I moved my desk so I could lean against the wall, I found toothpicks and food particles in the corner of the desk. Other than that, it's pretty clean, so it's good. So, I thought it would be a lot of trouble since it's an inn run only by an elderly couple, but I thought we could save an additional 500 to 1000 yen by making a few improvements that didn't cost that much. I wonder if there are any young people nearby who can help me or lend me their strength to improve. It's such a nice place and the base isn't bad, so it's a shame.
