We stayed at Shinsansou almost 10 years ago. It was one of those experiences I could never forget. The ambient, the food, and the onsen were perfect. The owner treated us with a free beer. I hope to come back one day.

There was only a day trip open-air bath.Mixed bathing is available, and there is also a women's bath in an enclosed area. If you dare to take a mixed bath, you can see the surrounding mountains in the hot spring ♨️ Yunohana is also very elegant!

I used the hot springs for a day trip. Enter the cut in the tunnel going from Shinhotaka No. 2 to Ropeway No. 1. There is a free parking lot for climbers and a hot spring parking lot, but the parking lot for climbers was full from first thing in the morning. I stopped by after descending the mountain and was able to enter. Once you cross the suspension bridge, you will find a hot spring and accommodation facility. The three-tiered open-air bath is dynamic along the beautiful mountain stream of the Jinzu River. This is an authentic rock bath, and the bottom part is lukewarm so you can take a bath while looking out at the mountain stream. The top is a hot spring bath, and the temperature of the water is a little high. The middle is somewhere in between. Yunohanamai was the best. 500 yen is cheap. Women must wear swimsuits to take a bath or use Himenoyu (women's only bath). Although the hurdles were high, there were several groups who came with their companions.

This is an inn that soothes the fatigue of mountain climbers. I don't think it's an overnight stay type of accommodation with a tourist feel. However, the open-air bath has an interesting flavor. It's a mixed bath, but you can enter in your swimsuit, so I personally recommend it as a day trip bath!If you are a mixed bather, be sure to follow good manners when bathing. Make sure to hide it properly (lol)There were no screens on the windows of the guest room, so I couldn't open the windows for fear of insects getting in, so I couldn't feel the great outdoors. I'm very disappointed.
