The apartment-style room is great, the pots are new, the Internet is smooth, the counter is on the second floor, if you can't hold your suitcase, you can ring the bell to ask someone to come down for help. After entering, there is an elevator and endless small stairs. The equipment in the room is very new, including tables and chairs, air conditioning, heating and humidifier. 100 points. Free use of drinks in the refrigerator. There is also mineral water in the refrigerator. The bathroom is also very good. use.

Hands down the best hotel of our Japan trip.
Room are very spacious, even has a small kitchen, free drinks in the fridge and the pancakes at the breakfast are delicious.

My family and I LOVED this hotel, it was an ideal choice for our stay in Takayama.First of all, getting here was very easy because it is just half a block from the Takayama bus station / train station.In the reception area, they had some nice green tea and sake as a refreshment upon arrival. I appreciated the friendly gesture, even though the tea wasn't sweet enough for my tastes. It was my first time trying sake, and I enjoyed it.The room was large and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The family suites are huge.The suite had a microwave and fridge, and the fridge was packed with free drinks like beer, soda, and juice. Nice!I didn't watch any TV while i was here, but the TV was a good size, and it was at a comfortable viewing angle to watch while sitting or lying in bed.Breakfast was unexpectedly good - in addition to scrambled eggs and potatoes, it had pancakes, croissants, noodles, rice balls with seaweed, cereal, and even some unexpected items like smoked salmon and then even some matcha ice cream. My family often skips breakfast at hotels but we were there EVERY DAY lol.I want to give a special thank you to all the people that assist the guests during breakfast, they are very helpful and friendly and professional.The people at the front desk were also polite, friendly and nice.Overall, we were very impressed with this hotel. I hope the owners / management can continue to keep up this very high level of service and quality.

August 2024Accommodates 5 people in 1 room: 3 adults and 2 elementary school studentsThere is no parking lot at the hotel, so use coin parking.The room was very spacious and fully equipped (mini kitchen, IH heater, refrigerator, tableware, etc.)There were free drinks containing alcohol in the refrigerator.There is a projector in the tent room (you can watch YouTube, Netflix, etc.)The toilet and bathroom are separated for easy use.Two people can use the washroom at the same time.I stay at hotels for about 10 to 20 nights a year when traveling with my family, and this was one of the most comfortable hotels I stayed in.

It seems like the equipment is malfunctioning.While I was sleeping in the middle of the night, the clerk unlocked my room.The work took about 5 minutes, but it was scary.If it's an important facility, I don't think it should be done via the guest room.

Used by a family of 4 including 2 elementary school children.The location is very convenient as it is near the station.There is no parking lot, so go to a nearby coin parking lot.The rooms are spacious, fully equipped with facilities and amenities, and of perfect quality.Furthermore, the room is equipped with a kitchen, cooking utensils, and tableware, making it comfortable even for long stays.Welcome drink, coffee and local sake service, free alcohol in the room, etc.I have never seen a hotel like this!

Stayed here in the last week of March 2024. The room was incredibly large, with a dining table and fully functional kitchen. The decor was lovely too. The fridge threw up two surprises - complimentary drinks and a few basic seasonings- just enough to roast some Hida beef in your room :) They had thoughtfully provided 3 types of charging wires.The reception staff was friendly and they held our luggage after checkout. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, with a couple of live counters and a great mix of local and international options. The breakfast seating was in slots, which have to be pre-booked. The location is fantastic - a stone's throw from the station and an easy stroll everywhere else.

At the end of March 2024, it was used by a total of 8 people: 5 adult family members and relatives, 2 elementary school students, and 1 kindergarten student. It's a 1-minute walk from the east exit of Takayama Station, making it a very convenient location for catching the bus to Shirakawa-go.The hotel feels more like a simple, clean, and comfortable hotel than a luxury hotel. This time I stayed in a room called "DX Garden Suite Yanagi". The price was not cheap because there were 8 people and the reservation was within a month, but the spacious room was very relaxing and nice. There were 3 rooms vertically, and at the back was an indoor garden area with tents, hammock chairs, a popcorn maker, and a projector, making it a really fun place for kids.Each room had a monitor or projector, but I could only watch YouTube or Netflix, so I couldn't watch the news or anything like that, but if you think about it, I feel like it frees me up from my usual life. Breakfast was buffet style, and if you ordered yakitori (with sauce or salt) and pancakes, they would grill them on the spot.There's also bread and rice balls, and there's a machine that dispenses rice balls when you press a switch, so it might be fun for kids.It was convenient for going to the morning market in Takayama and going around various places.The staff were also nice and cheerful people with smiling faces. thank you very much.

Didn't like the part they were situated on the second floor and there wasn't any lift going up. But the room was really huge and clean. A lot of space for us to move around comfortably. The morning breakfast was great as well. The staff were attentive and polite at all times. So we really recommend this if you need 2 double beds for your family travel. It doesn’t come with parking though.

We have 1 adult and 2 children, and we dragged three large luggages. It is close to the station and has a free washing machine and dryer. The breakfast is excellent. We will definitely visit again.

It is suitable for you to buy beef in Takayama City and fry it back. All the utensils are complete, convenient and cheap, and the location is excellent. However, since the lobby is on the 2nd floor, you have to carry your luggage upstairs to check in.
