An old-fashioned inn. It felt very nostalgic and I'm glad. Nowadays, there are many new hotels, small resorts, and small luxury hotels, but I want ryokans like Bosenkan to remain. There is a small place to drink inside the building, which is very nice.

My husband and I stayed here during the recent holidays and we were taken care of.Good location, good price, good food, overall I'm satisfied. However, it would be nice if the washroom/toilet could be made a little brighter!Baths are open 24 hours a day, so it would be nice if things could be brightened up.

One stay, two meals:I don’t want much, just travel alone, eat well, and have a good rest! This place fully satisfies me and is great value for money! Stunning! Before setting off, choose where you want to go and then go online to select the hotel you want to go to.Considering the funding issue, I hope it can be controlled within 20,000 yen. This is my priority and necessary condition. I can be satisfied here.Take JR from Akikoya, pass by Gifu Station, and get off at Gero Station. The scenery along the way, including green mountains, green trees, lakeside streams, etc., gradually gets better...It’s the first time you arrive at Gero Station. When you exit the station, you can first go to the passenger information desk on the left to collect information. There is a traditional Chinese map for reference. The service staff was very welcoming and told me that I can take a free taxi directly to the hotel. , it takes 17 minutes to walk, so of course it’s better to take a ride! This is a hot spring with history and a warm hotel! In addition, the hotel has a car rental service, 6H 6000. If you want to drive to nearby attractions, you can start here.Take a walk in Gero, soak in the hot springs, and warm your heart and stomach!

The first room they gave me was dirty and old. That room has a strong cigarette smell. The English speaking staff was helpful and got me another room which was much better. Their service was great. The food was OK.

Really kind. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my cell phone charger with me. When I told them the situation, they even let me borrow it for free in the hotel lobby. I had a favor to ask at night, and a staff member from Nepal and a man wearing rimless glasses were very kind and took care of it. And the large public bath and open-air bath are really nice. Be sure to use the footbath in the hotel's garden at night. morning. night. afternoon. Everyone’s impression of the open-air bath is different. The staff was friendly and responsive to my inquiries, so I had only happy memories. Thanks to you, I was able to have a pleasant trip. The train passing by seen from the room is cute and pretty. Even the smallest room has a very large area compared to hotels in the city. If you walk down the alley, the main shopping mall is close by. Recommended.

I was able to feel a melting sensation from the simple alkaline hot springs. Although the temperature of the source is over 50 degrees, both the large public bath and the open-air bath are large and have just the right amount of hot water. The building and interior seemed old, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. Also, although most of the people working there were from foreign countries, they were well-educated and didn't feel out of place. There wasn't anything special about the food, but everything was delicious, especially the Hida beef grilled with hoba miso served over fresh rice. It was a good system to be able to pay the bill the next morning using my smartphone in my room before leaving. It made sense that we received good reviews overall on various travel sites. It was a hot spring inn with no particular complaints.
