This year, I stayed for the third time in October, following May and August.It's in a great location, right in front of the Azusa River and Kappa Bridge. I stayed in a renovated room this time, and it was comfortable.I look forward to the breakfast and dinner buffets every time, they are delicious and I always end up eating way too much.I love homemade sausages,Wouldn't this sausage be even more delicious if you tried grilling it over a wood fire? I thought. Boiled sausages are delicious, but the flavor of wood-fired cooking was wonderful and the meat was delicious, so I would be happy if you would consider wood-fired homemade sausages. I would like to eat it with lots of grain mustard.

I stayed here for my second time climbing and hiking in Kamikochi. This was my first time in Kamikochi, and I had the experience of staying at the Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi for the first time. I guess it was the Gosenjaku group, it was a similar feeling. At Gosenjaku Hotel Kamikochi, I had a full meal, but here it was a filling meal. Of course, it's a meal that won't upset your stomach. I spent the night in my car at Hirayu Onsen, and the bath was clean and warm. Thank you for staying at our accommodation where you can relax and sleep. I forgot to bring my umbrella home, but I'll be coming back to Kamikochi next year and staying at the Gosenjaku Hotel.

It's attached to a lodge, but it was even more clean and comfortable.The staff were also kind.There was a variety of food at the buffet, so even though I only ate a little at a time, I was full.I prefer wood-fired dishes and the aroma was delicious, but I would have liked more variety.Other hotels also had fried eggs and hamburgers.Also, minus one: A fat old man who cooks wood-fired food tastes it? Eating snacks? So, I was eating with my bare hands and touching the food on the plate that was already lined up with my bare hands, which caused a loss of appetite.It would have been perfect if it weren't for that

Not one vegetarian option at dinner. counted over 20 meat dishes, some mixed with veggies but nothing for a vegetarian, even mushroom soup had meat.Front desk argued and said it was my problem that chef was unwilling to make anything vegetarian.l. Paid hundreds of dollars to stay at hotel and wasnt able to eat hot meal only rice. It is a shame when globe has approx 1 billion vegetarians and there are many practicing buddhist in Japan. Not to mention it isnt costly or difficult to provide some tofu or veggies without meat. the hotel is absolutely nkt about customer service or doing the right thing for its high paying guests. i recommend supporting businesses who actually care.Also stayed at hut on mountain Yari in middle of nowhwre and no had issue getting nice hot vegetarian meal.Front desk will argue with you saying chef only cooks animals.Also arrived at 145pm after hiking 7 hours refused to check me in until 3pm!!!! Stay away if you are vegetarian and/or hiker.

【postscript】····This is my favorite place to stay in Kamikochi and I have recommended it to friends and acquaintances.The highlight is the buffet style meal. I thought the wood-fired meat and beef stew were delicious, and the combination of French toast and grilled bananas in the morning was wonderful.Up until last year, there were a few dishes at dinner that didn't have a home-made feel to them, such as fried foods, but this year, everything seemed to be made from scratch, and I was impressed by the effort behind the scenes. Also, the dessert for dinner was ridiculously delicious, maybe because I ate it with no frills and no expectations.Also, the dining area has been renovated and I personally feel more comfortable there.Overall, I like the staff's attitude of always trying to improve rather than maintain the status quo. Good luck!Although it is difficult to make a reservation, there is a tendency for rooms to become vacant one week in advance or just before cancellation fees apply.・・・・・・A bright, clean and homely accommodation. Considering the location of Kamikochi, I think the cost performance is the best.・Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, and the number of items and taste are perfect.・The young staff are very nice. For example, when I asked at a breakfast restaurant if wasabi kelp was delicious and could be purchased at a store, they told me the manufacturer and learned that I could purchase it at the Gosenjaku store, and when I met a staff member on a day off while strolling, I was surprised at first glance. The young staff members remembered us as customers and carefully taught us about plants and flowers, etc. The young staff were working hard everywhere, and I wanted to support them.・Full points for a lodge, 3 points for a hotel.・Basically, there is an outside bath, and the washing area in the public bath is for about 6 people, but the bathtub is large enough for about 10 people, so it doesn't feel small. Towels and bath towels are available in the room.・You can hear sounds from the hallway, but you can't hear sounds from the next room.・General lodging in Kamikochi? Although there is no air conditioner for cooling, the outside temperature is low at night, so open the windows to adjust the temperature.・There are rental sandals for outdoor use, so you don't have to wear mountain climbing shoes in the nearby area. There are drink vending machines near the restaurant and the prices are reasonable. I have never seen any insects inside the inn.1. Tatami river sideThe Azusa River is right in front of you, so it's perfect. There is no problem in terms of size, but the mattress is thin and there is no typical senbei futon or mattress. The washroom and toilet are separate.2. Simple Western-style room (cheap Western-style room)Don't expect a view from the other side of the river. There is no problem with the size, but it feels like there is not as much extra space compared to Tatami, but the physical size may be the same as Tatami etc. The type where you take off your shoes is comfortable for your feet, but there is no outlet near the bed, which is a little inconvenient. The washroom and toilet are separate.

I used it last year and came again this year.The renovated rooms are simple and beautiful.The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.Dinner and breakfast were buffets, so I was able to eat a lot of delicious food.I want to collect stamps and it's my favorite place, so I'll come again!

Thank you for taking care of me when I was traveling with my elderly parents. I was satisfied with everything, including the convenient location at the foot of Kappa Bridge, the facilities, the food, and the staff's response, but I was very satisfied with the food.If I had to point out something that bothered me, I felt it would be nice if the "Japanese-style room" had a chair (or one that could be rented), as I used the room with my elderly parents. *If you were able to rent it, we apologize as it was an oversight on our part.I would like to use it again when visiting Kamikochi, and I feel that I can recommend it to those who are unsure about where to stay in Kamikochi.

There was a Japanese-style room available, so I stayed there with my 0 and 3 year olds. There are no services for children, but we didn't have any problems. (I may have caused you some inconvenience)I was surprised at how delicious the rice was. It was an inn that I would like to stay at again. thank you very much.
