Beautiful and quaint onsen Ryokan located in a small town near the snow capped mountains. The hosts and owners are amazing people, the elderly female host came outside to greet us as we pulled in to the car park with the car in the freezing winter! Showed us to our rooms and helped us settle in. In the following morning the other hosts greeted us at the lobby and ushered us to the dining hall which was super cute. There was a small minor earth quake during breakfast and the host came in to assure us everything was ok and not to worry. The region is also known for miso and their miso breakfast was Super interesting and made onsite
