Very nice hotel! It has a good location close to the station and the Miyagawa morning market. The restaurant around the corner, Nanairo, is also a plus 😁They have an onsen in the hotel, which I could enter with tattoos.

A great hotel with its own private onsen/hot bath. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is a few blocks from the station, a very easy walk. If I come back to Takayama we will stay here again. The rooms are a bit small but that’s normal for Japan. I have no complaints.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Takayama. It was centrally located with only a few minute walk to the morning market and 8 minutes from the bus and train station. They offered free bicycle rentals which we took them up on and enjoyed a day riding around. The mattress was firm and pillows soft which was perfect for us.We did the breakfast buffet twice in our 3 days. It was overall decent value considering all that is offered which was quite a lot and very convenient. Not many places were open that early but the buffet was so it worked well in that respect. The room was really cute with a nice window and small bench and was one of the nicer rooms in all the places we stayed on our trip, especially for the price. Overall great service and would definitely stay again and recommend!

Very comfortable and super clean rooms. Quick walk from train and bus station and close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores as well as tourist sites. Breakfast was yummy, with lots of traditional Japanese offerings including curry and rice, eggs, fish and some versions of croquettes, pickled veggies and limited western fare. Seasonal yam custards were delicious and totally worth every calorie. But best of all is the inhouse onsen... Total godsend especially after a day of site seeing in the rain to be able to relax in a super clean and hot onsen.

The hotel's own Onzen upgrades the hotel, breakfast was okay, not just Japanese but also croissants and toast as well as scrambled eggs and sausages, the rooms were rather small, we only had space for a suitcase and somehow it was a bit crowded. The hotel's own onzen enhances the hotel, breakfast was ok, not only Japanese but also croissants and toast as well as scrambled eggs and sausages, the rooms rather small, we only had storage for one suitcase and somehow it is a bit busy.

Comfortable & clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very small, use of washing machine 400 yen and dryer 100 yen take your own coins, not easy to use during busy periods. Great use of the hot spa. The breakfast was good, lots of choice. I felt like I was eating my lunch for breakfast but wanted to try everything. Complimentary green tea and coffee for the room collect at reception.
