Oct 8||After Kyoto we toured Gifu Prefecture. It was a long trip to our next destination, Gero Onsen, a small village separated by a river flowing through its center. About a 8 min walk is Kisoya, an onsen hotel.  …

Went for a casual visit using the wooden onsen day pass. Bath and water were a nice temperature and feeling. The outside bath on the 6th floor has good views and would be nice at night with the stars out!! The bath had lots of bugs in it though and there was no cold bath which is not my fabourite.

Very nice onsen ! 1000 yen. You have one inside onsen with tatami and the bath is filled with roses. And the outside bath it really good, go at night time since it's on the 6th floor you can bath while looking at the stars (Gero isn't a big city so not light polluted at night) Also a lot of product for the bath and the after care. You are given a small towel.

I used the hot springs for a day trip with the Yumeguri Tegata. One of the bills was missing from the previous use, soWhen I tried to buy it here, I couldn't buy it at the hotel. He said he would buy it elsewhere and then come back. You can purchase it at inns that are members of the Yumeguri Tegata program. The Gero Onsen Association website also states that this inn is for sale.Despite this, I simply said that I couldn't buy it at the inn, as if it were obvious.I visited most of the inns in Gero Onsen,This was my first time dealing with this.I just couldn't afford to mess with it, so I went to buy it elsewhere. After completing the formalities, I am on the 6th floor. With just one word,No greetings such as please take your time. The hot springs are also disappointing. . .There is no slippery feeling that is characteristic of Gero Onsen as soon as you enter.I'm adding water. I understood right away. And there was a strong chlorine smell, like being in a swimming pool.It came out right away. When I returned, there was no one at the front desk and I could only hear people talking in the back.Of course, thank you very much. There is no greeting. This is really the first time ever. The quality of the hot springs is not good, and the level of customer service is also the lowest. With this quality, I thought it would be impossible for me to stay overnight.

When I entered the room, the smell of cigarettes filled the room. The shower in the room did not provide hot water for more than 5 minutes and the water pressure was low.The hot spring in the large public bath has almost the same slimy feeling as Gero Onsen. There wasn't.It's fine if it's just men, but it's better not to bring women with you.

There are open-air hot springs, and the indoor hot spring for women has a bunch of flowers, which feels very beautiful. But smallpox has a lot of spiders.

This time, I used it as a day trip bath with Tegata. The staff were very friendly and easy to get into, and there were lots of roses floating in the indoor bath, which was lovely. It smells nice and relaxing. The open-air bath has thick walls that are too high, so you can't see much of the view, but there is no roof, so it feels open. However, there were flies, hair, and leaves floating in the open-air bath, and they came out immediately. Maybe there aren't enough cleaning staff. However, the floor of the indoor bath was tatami and was non-slip, which was nice. A hotel that is friendly to the elderly.

I used it for business.Gero Onsen is one of the 3 most famous hot springs in Japan, so I was really looking forward to it.This place is close to the national highway, right in front of the city hall, and very easy to find, and the location is good.I was impressed by how clean the inside of the building was. I see a Vietnamese woman among the staff. It's not unusual in this day and age, but I was impressed by their cheerful response, even more so than the Japanese⭕️.It's very convenient to eat in your room both in the evening and in the morning. After all, eating in your room feels luxurious. I won't mention the menu because it changes depending on the season, but the quality and quantity is more than the price! ️It’s finally time to take a bath!! ️, This is the large bath on the top floor. It also has an open-air bath, so it's really luxurious...What's surprising is that the floor is tatami from the moment you enter the bathroom, and even inside the bathroom is tatami!! ️, the atmosphere and safety are also great ⭕️. This was my first experience with a tatami washing area and I was hooked.Repeat decision!! ️
