I stayed in a room with an open-air bath.It has a calm atmosphere, but it lacks modernity, which is a shame. The open-air bath in the room is large and the location is great. There are many open-air baths, the quality of the spring water is good, and there is a large amount of hot water, so it is very comfortable and soothing.

The bath, service, food, and rooms are all wonderful in this inn. There are mixed baths, women's baths, indoor baths, and private baths, and there are many private baths, so you can use one as long as it's empty.Reservations are not required for private baths, and all you have to do is go there and turn over the tag (it comes with a key), so there is no need to compete for reservations. All the staff are smiling and have a fun atmosphere, which makes you feel at home. During the meal, I was served by technical intern trainees or international students from overseas, and they carefully explained the dishes using Japanese, which I was unfamiliar with. It's common in many hotels these days, but even though I'm in Gifu, they don't serve tuna...I'm glad I was able to enjoy the local taste!!The room was spacious and clean, and even though it was a hidden hot spring inn, there was Wi-Fi!Most of the secluded hot spring inns are deep in the mountains, so I had given up on getting a signal. It was midsummer, but when I opened the window, it was quite cool and the sound of the river flowing was very soothing!!The number of inns I want to visit has increased (^^)v
