Very professional. Helped us through two days of great travel. We have a big group, with 2 people sick (not hotel related) during our stay. They helped us throughout our stay and made us feel welcome even after we checked out. The staff did all this with limited English they know.

The hotel is settled in the middle of Gero Hot Spring town, short walk from the train station and can also be reached via bus from Kamikochi area. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. …

Lovely Ryokan with excellent service, wonderful hot springs and the food is brilliant. If you can't, definitely get the dinner and breakfast option at the Ryokan in a private dining room

A good over night stay to explore the onsen town. We had the room with the onsen bath which was nice but the room was a bit small for two big luggages and 2 adults. …

The installations show some wear, but that is compensated by the great service offered by the staff, who spoke decent English when we stayed. …

Sasara or Sasala is one of the many Onsen Ryokans in Gero. Managers can speak English so Sasara hotel is a recommended Ryokan with Singapore travel agents for visits to Gero. …

The installations are not the newest, but the staff is very helpful and nice. Almost all of them speak decent English. If public bath is not your thing, you can rent a room with a private bath or book a private one (very nice) for 30 minutes (1000 yen). If you like Japanese cuisine, make sure to try the breakfast or dinner (or both, if you can spare the yen).
