The food is carefully prepared using fresh ingredients, so if you don't make a reservation in advance, you will be directed to another nearby restaurant, but no one will rush you. A restaurant known only to those in the know, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunchtime kaiseki meal. This time, we had delicious and fun sashimi, vinegared dishes, boiled fish, freshly fried tempura, chawan mushi, kamameshi cooked on the spot, duck hot pot cooked on the fire, and dessert. If you are visiting Oyamazumi Shrine on a day trip with four or more people, you should make a reservation and stop by.

Anyway, dinner is so delicious. For sashimi, boiled fish, grilled fish, sea bream rice, and miso soup.A lot of happy dishes that will make you realize that fish is really delicious. Is the bath a large public bath called Mare nearby? I got a ticket, so I went there.A salty and unique hot water bath. It felt good!Above all, the staff is wonderful and makes you feel at home. The warm atmosphere makes you want to say "I'm home!"It's really comfortable. The atmosphere was such that you could feel that they were proud of this inn, and they were very attentive. If you want to stay on Omishima, we recommend this inn!

I stayed at Chabai for one night when I traveled from Dogo Onsen to Shimanami Kaido using a rental car. At Dogo Onsen, where we had stayed the previous night, we had stayed at a top-notch ryokan (and the accommodation costs were top-notch), so we were a little worried about staying at Chabai-san, which was less than half the price, but after we talked about it after our stay, we decided that Chabai-san was better. Ta".First of all, the food is delicious! My wife, who is usually very strict about the variety of fresh fish dishes including sea bream, could only say, ``It was delicious,'' which surprised me and gave me 6 stars. For bathing, we received a free ticket to an external seawater bath facility, and we visited and enjoyed the open-air bath while watching the sunset over the Seto Inland Sea. I also had good memories of my trip by talking about local things with the young proprietress of the inn and the lady working there. Some people may say that the room (interior) is old, but I could feel the thoughtfulness of the inn, such as the cleanliness, fresh flowers placed everywhere, and clean mirrors, and I was able to sleep comfortably. It's a small detail, but the only thing I would like to see improved is that I had to get up and go to the switch at the entrance to turn off the lights in the room, so I felt like it would have been nice to have a remote control. Being able to stay at a ryokan like this was the biggest benefit of this trip.

I learned that I could go to Usagi Island by boat from Mori Port on Omishima Island, so I made a reservation at a ryokan that seemed to have a good reputation. It is located along the approach to Oyamazumi Shrine, so it may have been visited by many pilgrims by boat in the past. Nowadays, many people come from Shimanami Kaido, so I guess things have changed. To be frank, the appearance of the inn feels dated, and I felt that there were few guests considering the number of rooms, but I was able to spend a quiet time without being bothered by other guests. The room I was shown to had new tatami mats, so the smell of rushes was pleasant.Meals will be served in the hall on the first floor, which is decorated with autographs of many famous people. A dish made with fresh fish. It was my first time to eat okoze tempura. It might be spicy for people who don't like fish dishes. At check-in, you will receive an admission ticket to a nearby super public bath. It's next to Hakata's salt factory. It's best to go to the baths immediately after checking in, as the baths will close after dinner. So please be aware that if you do not check in early, you may not be able to take a relaxing bath.Definitely recommended for those who want to spend a leisurely time on Omishima (and love fish dishes). I was able to spend a relaxing time.

I stopped by on my first Shimanami Kaido cycling trip.Unfortunately, due to the rain, we arrived much earlier than planned, and I was hoping they would let me wait in the lobby, but the hostess told me I would be cold, so she immediately took me to the bathroom.I was very happy and grateful. For dinner and breakfast, I was very satisfied with the freshness of the sashimi, the delicious soup stock, and the beautiful decorations on the accompaniments. Also, Imabari's Honkino Towel felt so good that I decided to buy one for my home. The futon was so soft and fluffy that it felt like it had just been hung out to dry, which soothed the fatigue of cycling.I heard that they recently built a garage with a shutter for their bicycles for cyclists, and purchased a dryer for their shoes so they can feel comfortable when they leave. The fresh flowers in the rooms and hallways, the haiku poems on the paper during the meal, the fun stories told by Mr. Nakai, and everything else made me feel warm and attentive, and I had a really comfortable time.I would definitely like to visit again.

The sashimi was fresh and the rice was very delicious. I think the people at the inn are very considerate and it's a nice place to stay. Oyamazumi Shrine is also nearby, making sightseeing easy.
