I am very saddened to hear that this hotel is closed and may be demolished and rebuilt. This hotel embodies a time in Japanese history when the people were looking for hope. It really is Hiroshima heritage.I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here.I remember the staff being very kind and helpful. Thank you for awonderful stay.

Had to stay just one night so it was doable but I didn’t feel comfortable at all. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it felt dirty, there were stains everywhere on the carpet and on the bedsheet too. Definitely not worth the money!

It is expensive but the quality service is just as a business hotel. You should confirm carefully by calling to the hotel the detailed room, number of beds which was not written well on the reserved page. In the room, you cannot change the the air conditioner temperature as you like.

Great proximity to Hiroshima Peace Park, shopping center, and restaurants. That's where the good ends. Indifferent staff, entrance is only stairs, not stroller (or wheelchair) accessible. Worst of all the rooms are dirty, furniture is damaged and 50 years old, full of stains on carpet, bed, couch, and linens. You get what you pay for. Don't stay here!!!

Rooms very small and tired. Bathroom tiny. Nothing out of the ordinary for a Japanese city hotel really. Breakfast underwhelming (beautiful carving at the entrance to breakfast room, be sure to look and spot all the carvings!) Location excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Elevators are quite small. The building hasn't aged well and doesn't fit the area anymore. The businesses within seem great though! Only went to the restaurant.

The hotel location is a convenient location. It is just a walkable distance to tram railway stations, bus centre (can get bus directly to Hiroshima airport), Hon Dori and Atomic bomb dome etc. Rooms are clean. The staff also very helpful. The WiFi in the hotel is not stable at the room. It was not be available in many areas of the room (towards window).

Located within a 10 minute walk from peace park, within two blocks from shopping centers and tram station and in the middle of a vibrant restaurant area. A little old fashion but very confortable rooms, with the traditional outstanding Japanese service.

The hotel is old and thus the rooms are dated. That being said the location of the hotel for shopping and site seeing is absolutely brilliant. When you consider the location and the cost which is very very reasonable, most people wont mind the old rooms too much.

The room we had was incredibly quaint and cute. There was even a little garden in the balcony on the 4th floor. The common area was also very cool; there were little display cases showing off some Japanese things.
