We had the most incredible stay at 古民家STAY 向島の家 離れ Hanare—it’s truly the best house we’ve ever stayed in! Hiromi is an amazing host; she welcomed us warmly and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The house was impeccably clean, with a minimalist and traditional Japanese décor that added to the serene atmosphere. Hiromi lives next door, but she completely respected our privacy throughout our stay.The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Although it is an antique house, it feels like staying in a living museum—a truly unique experience. We had no problem finding the house, but we recommend using a GPS to go directly to the location without any trouble. Also, having a car would be beneficial for getting around the area.We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in a traditional Japanese setting and would love to return!

I used it during summer vacation with my children.The owner is friendly and kind, and we received detailed guidance from the moment we made the reservation. My luggage, which I had left behind at check-out, was immediately delivered to me. Thank you for your help in that section.Although it is a quaint old private house, it is clean, including the plumbing, and the living room is air conditioned well. Overall, it's a comfortable space. You will be staying without meals, but all amenities are provided.It is a valuable place where you can feel the relaxed atmosphere of Mukojima with your whole body. We would love to use you again.

The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped, and it was very comfortable as it had been newly renovated while still retaining the good old things. I was able to spend a relaxing and relaxing time as if I had come to my nostalgic grandma's house.The Goemon bath also got me excited.I think not only people from overseas but also people in the city will enjoy it.This is an inn I would recommend to my friends, so I gave it an unusual 5 stars.The landlady was also stylish and cool, and she told me about delicious restaurants nearby, and I'm glad I was able to enjoy Mukojima to the fullest.Next time I want to stay overnight. It would be nice to have a gas stove if you're staying for several nights.Other than that, it was comfortable and equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioner, and water heater.

It was used during a trip to Innoshima.The owner was very attentive to every detail from the time I made the reservation, and when I met him on the day of the reservation, I thought he was exactly what I had imagined.It's an old private house, so are the rooms old? Are there a lot of insects? hot? I had a lot of concerns, but the room, toilet, and bedroom on the second floor were all well-cleaned and very clean, and the air conditioner was turned on before I arrived, so it was cool and comfortable.And I didn't see any insects.Since I checked in late at night, it was difficult to find the location of the inn, but it was also a good memory ^_^

Spend your time as if you were living there.I have visited Onomichi, my favorite city, several times. I have visited almost all the famous places. What if you could leave the hustle and bustle in front of the station and spend your time like a resident? And what I found was ``Mukoujima House.''As you can see from the images posted on the website, the inn has a very nice atmosphere and was built over 100 years ago, so as someone who loves old things, I had a luxurious time there. The building has been thoroughly renovated and there is no problem in staying there. The surrounding area is rich with nature, and I was surprised at how quiet it was at night, especially for someone who came from the city.The owner was very warm-hearted and provided us with a variety of information before and during our stay. Also, during my stay, I was treated with a reasonable distance, which made me feel very comfortable.As it is the first island of the Shimanami Kaido, I saw many people cycling on it, but I recommend walking to fully enjoy the people, houses, beaches, and mountains that live on the island. Next time, I would like to participate in a tour organized at the inn.It was an inn that reminded me of my grandpa's house when I was a child, and a place that made me want to go back.

I experienced the activity [Innoshima Ohashi Hiking Tour]. As shown in the photo, I am impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea. The parting of the tide seen from the bridge made me want to see it for a while. The Hassaku Daifuku eaten at the perfect time was exquisite. The scenery, not only the lighthouse keeper, but also everyone along the way, was as if we had wandered into the world of Ghibli. The story of the guide (owner) was interesting and made me want to watch the recommended movie about lighthouse keepers. The stories told by the unique guides are sure to make you laugh.

I found this old folk house while searching for a place to stay on Google Maps.It was so amazing that it took my breath away! !It is full of charm that can only be experienced in old folk houses, such as the verandah that makes you want to lie down, the splendid beams on the ceiling, and the stylish Goemon bath.While maintaining the old-fashioned atmosphere, the restrooms and other bathrooms have been renovated and have a clean feel.In contrast to the bright days of the day, the nights are painfully quiet. It was a slightly cool end of May, and I felt the slow flow of time.The owner is also very kind!From the time you make your reservation until the day of your stay, the owner will send you lots of information about the island and accommodation (from transportation to recommended spots on the island) via email, so you can enjoy your trip without worrying.Of course, on the day of my stay, I was soothed by the owner's warm hospitality throughout the house.They took great care of me during my stay and sent me warm words via email many times. He is a warm, warm-hearted person.Although I only stayed for one night, the time I spent here became an irreplaceable memory.I even loved the feeling of regret when I left the inn.I really hope that many people will visit.
