I plan on going there for a few months so I cannot judge the location nor the rooms. However, I called the hotel since I had a question and although my Japanese was really bad, a really kind lady helped me with my request even if English wasn’t her forte! I’ll update this review in a few months, after my visit! See you soon (:

All the staff were kind. The food is delicious and plentiful, so I'm very satisfied. And the location is great. I was able to visit Itsukushima Shrine many times depending on the tide. It's also adjacent to a shopping street, so you can enjoy eating while walking. This time I had a room plan, so I ended up facing the mountain. If you want to enjoy the view, it is better to reserve a room. However, although the room was old, it was well-cleaned and I had no complaints.

I visited because the reviews for the food were relatively good. However, it was tasteless, cold, and the conger eel in the pot wasn't cut enough to make it edible. Only beer was delicious. I was really surprised and wondered if there was something wrong with our taste buds. I couldn't help but ask the person sitting next to me, and he said the same thing. I think you shouldn't rely on the reviews of the food.Other than the food, the location was good, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the atmosphere of the Japanese-style room were good.

Located a few minutes walk from Miyajima Pier, you can see Hatsukaichi City across Hiroshima Bay. The interior has a historical feel to it, but it's been renovated in spots, so it's very comfortable.Dinner is a kaiseki meal centered around oysters and conger eel, so you can eat slowly and leisurely. Also, the rice is made with oysters cooked in a pot, so you can eat them freshly cooked.Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet, so you can enjoy your meal as well.

The location is great, and the rooms have a calming Showa feel, are spacious and clean, and the views from the windows are perfect. The staff are also kind and polite. However, the food is really disappointing. We recommend the no-meal plan.Dinner had a vague taste and the soup stock was not very good. The pot tastes too bad. All the conger eel came out and the skin was limp. It seems better not to put it in the pot. The sashimi and oysters at the beginning were delicious, but the seared bonito in the middle was so smelly that I couldn't eat it. The avocado in the cold shabu salad is hard and unripe, but it has dark spots and looks dirty. Knocked out with the last cooked rice. I wish this was white rice. The dessert was also something strange and tasteless. Did you say custard or something? It was a pain because so many disappointing dishes were still being served.I would be happy if the number of items was reduced and each item was made with care and love.Breakfast was a completely salty side dish, but compared to dinner it was normal. For some reason, there was a Japanese set meal with a side of vegetables that came with potato salad. A wonderful combination for breakfast and dinner. The family at the next table also kept complaining and left quite a bit behind. This is no good, I thought.I would love for everyone at the hotel to try it. I wonder if this is really okay.I would give this inn a 5 star rating if the food were improved.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is a modern hotel but with Japanese Ryokan style rooms. The rooms are spacious and ours had a window looking down at the busy market below, and the beach with otorii in the distance.  …

It's located right in the middle of the way from the ferry terminal to Itsukushima Shrine. Location◎. Although it was a Japanese-style room, I was satisfied with the view even on the lower floors, as I could see the torii gate from my window. The building itself is probably showing its age, but there are no particular concerns regarding hygiene.I felt that the atmosphere of the large public bath was also good. The staff's response was also good. However, I feel that the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were not as good as I had expected. If you can imagine a typical ryokan in a typical tourist spot, I think it's a good enough score if you don't expect too much.
