Great location for anyone doing the Shimanami Kaido. Very close to the train station, main bike rentals, and ferry to Mukaishima. I appreciated the in-unit washing machine.

Clean comfortable quiet compact apartment.Nice compact apartment, good communication and easy to find and access. Very close to the U2 complex on the waterfront for bike hire. Residential area so very quiet. Everything modern clean and well maintained, plenty of parking. Not too far to walk from station.Mattress to soft for my taste, can't imagine staying here with 3 people was pretty snug with 2. Google Maps actually brought us to the street behind where there is no access, look for the parking lot and the yutori hotel.Bonus is the ice cream vending machine in the car park.

We stayed in bHotel Yutori for 2 nights in August 2024 before doing the Shimanami Kaido cycling route. It is reasonably priced and well-located with good wifi and AC.Check-in is from 3PM and it is self check-in, with instructions (codes for the doors) sent from 9AM via text message.The room is a clean and luxurious-feeling mini apartment. Our room had a very comfy double bed and couch with a TV. The bathroom is large with a shower and bath (Japanese style so no bath curtain) and the hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face/hand wash, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face towels, hand towels, and a bath mat. The toilet is a “Western” bidet toilet.In the closet there is a small fridge, and full laundry machine with detergent as well as clothes hangers and an ironing board, iron, and vacuum. I recommend hanging wet laundry in the bathroom and using the drying function. There is also an umbrella and emergency flashlight in the front door that can be used.Apart from the fridge, the kitchen also has cups, glasses, plates, bowls, chopsticks, forks, spoons, a chef’s knife, a cutting board, a gas stove, a pan (but no oil), a spatula, a ladle, scissors, a pot, a bread knife, a kettle, a microwave (but no oven), dish soap, and sponges. They provide coffee, powdered creamer, sugar, and black tea.There is a Gyomu supermarket and a Châteraisé a 10-minute walk away so we cooked a couple meals. And the bike rentals and ferry to Mukaijima were also only a 10-minute walk away. So it is a very convenient place to stay in Onomichi.

The location is not very obvious, so I found it after walking around a bit.There is a white curtain hanging at the doorAll the doors from the front door to your room are password locked.The check-in and check-out process is completely non-contactThe interior of the room feels like living in a Japanese homeWashing machines, microwave ovens and pots are all includedYou can buy ingredients outside and come back to cook them, no problemThe bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the bathing space is large enoughThere is nothing nearby, but it is quite close to the station, which is convenientThe price is a little higher, but still acceptable

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. We had a great time, and the apartment had everything you would need. We loved the ability to wash our clothes and dry them overnight in the bathroom. The apartment is only 200 meters from the train station and bicycle rental for the Shimanami Kaido cycling. There are several great restaurant options only a short walk away. The stairscase is quite narrow, so it might be a struggle if you can't carry your own luggage up stairs.
