Very good Ryokan experience. Very large traditional room and traditional multi course meal dinner and breakfast. Location is a little off from the main area but at the base of the mountain surrounded by the fields.

This Ryokan is set out of town in a nice quiet area. Easy walk to the teddy bear museum, a cat Sanctuary that you can visit and the Hida Folk Village. ||Close to bus stop if you want to travel outside of the free shuttle bus times. …

Great place to say! Owners were very kind. Though the place is a bit far to the city center, they offer (free/paid) shuttle services depending on the time. Recommend!

Dream trip to Japan with associated ryokan experience. Very large and very clean facility. Mr. Murayama welcomes customers with a smile and helpfulness. The rooms are gigantic and full of every comfort (I have never slept so well as in this place). Typical Japanese dinner and breakfast prepared meticulously in every detail and explained to the letter. Everything excellent. I truly recommend such a unique experience!

I stayed here for one night while cycling on my road bike during Golden Week. A warm hot spring bath and charcoal-grilled rockfish will leave your tired body feeling steamy and delicious. Thank you for giving me so much food at such a low price. The room was old-fashioned, but it was equipped with a laundry room, which was better than a luxury inn. It's not within walking distance from the station, but it's perfect for our bicycle group. But but! The climb at the end takes away little stamina.Gaze at the snow-capped mountains of Hida and take a walk through the surrounding gassho-style buildings. It's great to be on a hill where you can enjoy the morning sun. I had a Japanese set meal for breakfast, and I had a second helping of rice, and on the second day, I was grateful for the last meal that gave me a boost of energy before I returned home after a long distance run.Thank you for your help. I would like to come again with my family.

Fantastic Ryokan stay! The room with a private bathroom is very spacious, it’s clean and has everything you may need. If you want to experience a real Japanese Ryokan, book this hotel! There is a private onsen for families and couples that you can use, they offer a tasty dinner (make sure to make a reservation!) . The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center but it guarantees silence and beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Thank you for amazing experience 😍
