I used it for lunch. As expected from a Japanese restaurant and inn, it was very delicious. The sashimi, Iwakuni sushi, cheese tamagoyaki, and dessert were especially delicious. I think the price is reasonable at just under 3,000 yen.I made the right choice here!

I booked a nearby inn for my first visit to the Iwakuni area and Kintaikyo Bridge with my daughter, her husband, and grandson. By chance, there was a day party going on that day, and there was only one other group staying overnight, but the wait staff, including the waitress, were very welcoming and friendly, and the food was very satisfying. This time, it was hot and I didn't feel like taking a walk around Kintaikyo Bridge at night, but I'd like to stay there again in the fall, expecting a 5-star rating.

I was surprised when Google Maps directed me to the back entrance (there was a parking lot behind the inn) 😳😳😳 But the inn staff happened to be there, so I entered through the back entrance. The building itself is old, but it felt like it was well maintained. The room we stayed in was "Sakura no Ma"It was posted on the special room of this inn and on the website. Also, it says that children are not allowed in this room, but what's wrong with that? There aren't any particularly expensive items,I can't believe that the shoji screens were installed by a professional. To put it bluntly, the bottom of the room was a tea room.Is it because when the children are having fun, the sound resonates below? If you could tell me the reason, I would be able to understand it.Actually, I wanted to bring my daughter's family as well.Children are not allowed in this room, and unfortunately we cannot get another room. Moreover, when I asked about it over the phone, I was simply refused. That's what he said.It was a bit disappointing. For cookingIt didn't feel particularly special, butThe thin conger eel was good. Was there no manpower at Golden Week?Although it was a special room,It wasn't anything special...It was a very ordinary inn.

I used it right after it opened during Golden Week lunch time. Although I was alone, I was able to share a meal. Since it was Golden Week, I had a choice between Hangetsu Gozen and Sakura Gozen, and I wanted to eat local cuisine, so I ordered the Hangetsu Gozen. There's plenty to choose from, including freshly fried tempura, fresh Sawara Toburi sashimi, lightly seasoned and easy-to-eat simmered Ohira, steamed egg custard with dashi, an assortment of seasonal appetizers, and Iwakuni's specialty, Iwakuni sushi. All of them were delicious and I enjoyed Iwakuni's local cuisine. I also like that there are a lot of seasonal stories. This time, I went back from sightseeing at Kintaikyo Bridge and Iwakuni Castle, and I was a little hungry after a long walk, so I ate at Iwakuni Sushi 2-dan, but normally I think 1-dan would be enough. Also, the service was good and efficient. It is also a tourist destination and is often used by families, so it may be a good idea to make reservations on weekends.
