Seems pretty safe. The price is also reasonable. Of course, your child's safety is your responsibility. Swimming in the river is seriously dangerous due to rising water. Jumping in is also at your own risk.

I was surprised to see people using detergent and toothpaste even though it is obvious that wastewater from waterholes is discharged into the river. We will eat the sweetfish there.I hope that as many campers as possible will acquire the ability to think.

I used it for my first solo camping trip (also my first time camping).I would like to share this as there was not much information on the web.Price → 2,900 yenCheck-in → 8:30-17:00Check-out → 8:30-17:00*It can be used for up to 32 and a half hours.*The administrator will be present only during the above hours.Entering/exiting → As long as you check in, you can go at any time.Water hole → Cold water only (spring water? It's always flowing)There are probably about 20 sections (I haven't counted them properly as it would be a nuisance to the users).Toilet → 4 botton toilets (for women)It's my first time so I can't really compare, but I thought it was a very good campsite.Since it was a women's solo camp, I was looking for a place with a caretaker on duty and clean restrooms. However, since all the campgrounds were full, we shifted our focus to finding a campsite with a beautiful view.I was healed by the beautiful scenery. It seems that renovation work on the toilet will be carried out from Monday, November 6, 2025. There was a notice asking you to use the restroom at a nearby roadside station.*No information regarding the completion of constructionI thought it would be noisy at night because there was no set time for the lights to be turned off, but I could hear children's voices and no one had really bad manners.I wasn't involved, but the ground near the waterhole was sticky with water, so I thought it would be difficult for beginners.

This is a small campsite located upstream of the Aichi River.I often use the parking lot for day trips to the river, rather than setting up a tent or having a BBQ.Depending on the weather from the day before to the day of the trip, the river is shallow, with a maximum depth of about 160 cm, and there are many shallow spots throughout, so you can enjoy swimming in the river relatively safely.Facilities include simple toilets. There are no changing rooms, and you can use running water (probably spring water). The level of civility among users is also high, and it is rare to see users saying or doing things that would raise eyebrows among other users. There is also less trash thrown away.BBQ is only allowed at tent sites, and is prohibited near the river. In the summer of 2023, when I only used the parking lot without setting up a tent or having a BBQ, it was 500 yen per car (light), 200 yen for adults, and 100 yen for children (as a side note, I personally I think it would be safer to use the service if the fee was a little higher (because it would exclude users with bad manners). There are some negative reviews on Google Maps, such as ``It's hard to tell if it's paid or free'' and ``I was suddenly charged money when I parked there.'' However, since manned campgrounds generally have a fee, it's important to have this as basic knowledge. We want you to enjoy the outdoors while doing so.

I went to the river with my kids during summer vacation. I went without a reservation on the day, but since it was a weekday, they accommodated me. It's an auto campsite, so you can put tables next to your car, and there's shade from trees, so it's perfect for a day trip to the river. You can go down to the river from the site and enjoy playing in the river. The water quality is clean and you can swim with sweetfish and kawamutsu. The water is generally shallow, but there are some places where the current is steep or deep, so it's best to have your children wear a life jacket.
