Although we did not have access to the guest rooms, we performed at the entrance venue. The response from everyone at the reception was wonderful.

HOTEL Ko Chaya is a hotel that is a renovated townhouse. The type where you check in at two buildings next door and then move on. It's becoming popular to buy nearby hotels, renovate them, and centralize front desk functions. It was exactly the same pattern when I stayed in Hakuba the other day. I stayed at Chaya 102, and the receptionist was polite and nice.Machiya is cool. But it's cold. At first glance, this place looks like a townhouse, but the interior has been changed to modern materials, so it's beautiful. However, the wood is beautiful and the paper is beautiful, so it feels a little cheap. Old Japanese architecture gets old and cool over time, but its practicality is low. On the other hand, I wonder how such a rationally constructed building will change over time. When you enter the building, there is a lounge space with small cakes and nuts. You can have a drink and relax. There were no other guests when I stayed, so I had the place to myself. lucky. The dried fruits were delicious. The room is also beautiful. There were rice crackers on the table and delicious juice in the fridge. The equipment was good, but there was no humidifier. Also, the internet seemed a little slow. There is nothing around and it is quiet. However, since our room was on the road side, we could sometimes hear the sounds of cars at night. It doesn't bother me, but sensitive people might. There is no parking lot, but there was a parking lot nearby where you could park late at night for 300 yen, so I used it.

This is a room where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience.I think a room facing the street is best.

We used it as an overnight stay for the Lake Biwa Fireworks Festival! The exterior and rooms look like an old-fashioned Japanese house, but the facilities are modern and clean, making it a comfortable stay! ✨In addition, the lounge exclusively for guests has coffee tea and sweets available during the day, and local sake is also served at night. Also, I was surprised to learn that you can freely drink the drinks in the refrigerator in your room (there was water, oolong tea, and juice).Although I couldn't see the fireworks from my room, I was very satisfied with the access to the tournament venue.

I used it for sightseeing.Check-in was in a different building, and the room was in a townhouse about a minute's walk from there. It's a little difficult to walk from the station, but it's quite interesting as you can see the Tokaido cityscape. The rooms are generally very clean and well equipped. It seems that they are also particular about detergent. It was very hot on the day I stayed, but the room had an air conditioner, which was helpful.Drinks such as alcoholic beverages are also available at night.I stayed without meals, but next time I would like to come with meals included.

The townhouse is being renovated. There are many delicious Japanese restaurants and meat restaurants nearby. Conveniently located near the station. Tea, sweets, and even alcohol are available. It's free. It seems that some rooms have a bath. It's expensive though. If you are on business, it is reasonable to just take a shower. There are two chairs in the room, so you can work perfectly.

This hotel is a renovated Kyoto townhouse. Although there is a sense of nostalgia in many places, comfortable facilities such as air conditioning, lighting, and interior decoration have been introduced. The chairs and lighting are of Scandinavian design, such as Denmark, and the modern Japanese atmosphere is very soothing. This hotel is made up of multiple buildings, and each building has a different concept, so when you check out, you'll want to stay in a room with a different concept. It is within walking distance from JR Otsu Station.

It's truly a great stay! It is enough to stay overnight without meals and eat at a nearby pub. It was a wonderful stay.
