This campsite is right in front of Lake Biwa. There are various sites, including power supply sites, pine forest sites, and sites with nothing overhead. The toilets were also nearby and clean. There are no water sources nearby, so we recommend bringing your own tank.

I've been there a few times, but it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The size of the site is perfect and spacious for a lakeside site. There is enough space for a wagon to park a kamaboko tent.Site B is convenient because the trees are in the way at times, but there is shade and there is a toilet and kitchen nearby. In any case, Lake Biwa is a great place to swim, but there are too many aquatic plants. The bottom of the water up to your waist is mostly aquatic plants. Will it not be reaped? From spring to autumn to before winter, it's a good place to enjoy camping while looking out at Lake Biwa. The high season price is 6000 yen camping fee + 3000 yen swimming pool fee.Well, when it gets hot, I can jump in again and again, so that's good. However, if you don't want to swim because it's hot in the first place, early autumn is fine for Lake Biwa.As someone who has been there several times, it might be a good idea to swim at a swimming hole and then move to the forest site.

Some of the sites had pine trees, so I was guided to a narrow site, but I was able to change it if I asked the bike guide. The sun is hot in the summer, so it's best to have a shaded area with no trees on the site.Lake Biwa looks beautiful, but there was algae all over it, and it was always slippery, so we had to cut short on playing in the water.A lot of stink bugs in the toiletThere is no foot washing area or stove washing area.Is there a better campground?I guess I won't choose next time.

This is one of the campgrounds where guests with bad manners gather from other prefectures. There are groups of people making noise until late at night, people chopping firewood early in the morning, children invading other people's websites, etc.The site and aisles are narrow and clearly over capacity. Depending on the site, there may be stone tables or trees in impossible positions. And the price is also high. The management doesn't seem to be particularly interested in raising awareness or making improvements, so if you're going to go, it's best to go on weekdays or during the off-season.
