The building is old, but it's cheap and the service is good.

Last time, I stayed there because I admired Seta's Karahashi Bridge, which often appears in history and literature. Although it is an old building, it has a rather elegant atmosphere. This time, I happened to arrive unwell due to the heat, but the hostess was as wonderful as ever. There are Omi beef shops and Ishiyama-dera Temple nearby. In winter, the red southern sky is spectacular.

Difficult to evaluate. The location is Lake Biwa and the riverside, making it suitable for water activities such as fishing with a fishing rod and canoeing. However, there is no convenience store within walking distance. The Wi-Fi in the room is sometimes difficult to reach, has old-fashioned tatami windows, and there is no refrigerator or electric kettle in the hallway. The toilet is a Japanese style toilet. However, even if you pay twice as much for accommodation, the food is delicious.

Karahashi is a long-established inn located at the foot of Karahashi, one of Japan's three most famous bridges. You can park your car in the space in front of the inn, but if two regular cars fit there, it will be full. I think you can fit 3 light vehicles.Although it is written on the travel site, it is an old building as it looks, so it does not have the facilities like modern hotels.Instead, the extension was a black phone. It was a Japanese-style toilet. The bathroom is just large enough for two adults. If it's more than that, it's too small. When a Shinkansen passes by, you can hear a loud "goooooo" sound. It depends on what you're looking for, but it's a great inn for people who just need an overnight stay and breakfast as a base for participating in an event. The breakfast was delicious, as the restaurant originally served food, and there were about three bowls of rice per person.

There is one more place to stay at Karahashi in Seta! Is it because it's old and hasn't been renovated? ❗⁉😊
