I chose it because the parking lot was free. However, since a typhoon was coming, I decided to take the train. It may depend on the time of year, but from the end of August to September it costs a little over 6,000 yen per night. The building is old, but well maintained and clean. The staff are very kind. I'm sorry that there weren't many customers and the public bath was private, but I was able to relax and soak in the hot water. There is a bathroom in the room, but it takes a while for the hot water to come out, so we recommend using the large public bath. It is located in the middle of a river leading out of Lake Biwa, and has a very picturesque atmosphere. It's about a 7-minute walk from the nearest Keihan Station, and about a 15-minute walk from JR Ishiyama Station. The only drawback is that the nearest convenience store is a 15 minute walk and there is no WiFi in the room. There is a wired LAN. There is also Wi-Fi in the lobby on the first floor. When you look out your window in the morning, you can see a regatta taking place on the river.

There are no hotels around Ishiyama, and depending on the time of year, it was difficult to plan a place to stay at all. This hotel was recommended to me by a local friend. Parking is free, so it's a good idea if you come by car. You can see the Seta River from the window. It's not that it's great, but...It seems that the youth hall is being operated as a hotel, so I wonder how it would be used as a hotel? Is it not good?It seems like you can bring in powdered coffee and toothbrushes from the front desk, but they don't have shaving equipment, so I asked and found out that they cost 300 yen from a vending machine. It's really not necessary. disappointing. It seems better to buy it at a convenience store. This is my second time using it today. The prices have gone up and the quality has become even worse. By the way, last time I received a receipt addressed to my company name, but for some reason each time I created it in advance with my individual name. What's more, even though I said it would be ok to check out, they wouldn't let me go to my room until I finished writing, even though they said I would rewrite it by hand. This time I was given the key to room 213, so when I went to the second floor, there was no room with that number. When I went back to the front desk and asked again, they said there was no room with that number. The correct answer is the room whose name is written in kanji. I got angry and told him to delete his number. Why didn't you say something when I handed you the key? Moreover, when I entered the room, there was no bath or toilet. I was surprised because it was the first time in my life that my room didn't have a bath. When I asked if there was a room with a bath, I was told that there was, but it would cost 500 yen more. Above all, today's shaved-headed guy is unfriendly. I suspect it's 893. It's a seller's market around here, it's terrible. I decided to choose a hotel other than this one next time, even though it might be a little further away. Above all, the local reputation is quite bad.

Speaking of Setagawa, it’s the regatta ☝️I wanted to try it once, so my family and I decided to try it out. The 2 hours we spent on the Coastal Boat went by in a blink of an eye, but it was a really good experience and I'm grateful. Even though I'm an amateur, I was able to row a full-fledged boat and it was fun! Thank you for your kind guidance 🙇

It's located in Nakasu, so it might be a bit creepy, but it's not bad.The inside of the building is not the latest, but there is no problem. It's surrounded by a river, so the scenery is nice.

Ok. First of all leave your expectations at home expecting hotel level service. Once you've done that if you want a cheap but clean place to stay this is it. …

Although it is undeniably old, there are no particular problems. The price is good and cheap (I rate the price as a service as well). When I looked up after soaking in the bathtub, I could see the back of the sink, which the cleaning staff probably never see, and it was very clean, even though most hotels are 100% dirty. wonderful. If I could use this place, I thought I would stay overnight while fishing at Lake Biwa, so I checked the availability, but unfortunately there were no vacancies for the weekend.
