The service was the best I've ever had. We got there and my wife wasn't feeling well and they helped take care of her and accommodated her more than we ever could have asked for. Their kindness and hospitality will make me return one day when I'm in Kyoto again. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, the private onsen was the perfect temperature and had a wonderful view of the garden. The only small complaint was the room was a bit cold.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't give it one star if I didn't have to. The picture is of a room that cost more than 80,000 yen. Mold on bathroom ceiling and wall damage. Moreover, I originally booked a Japanese-style room and the hotel confirmed it. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they told me that the room type I had booked was no longer available and they arranged me here directly. Just say that my reservation is fully booked. There was no other apology or other measures. And it’s very remote. If you want to stay in a Japanese-style room at this price, there are many options in the central area. I thought it would be easier to live in a more expensive place, but the result was really terrible.

Ryokan Seryo, it was an amazing place to stay, the meals were top notch! A ton of food, come hungry! The rooms, were clean, with an amazing view of a garden with many large koi. We used the public Onsen it was clean and very relaxing. We did feel like one night stay was enough. We were able to see all the shrines and activities in one day.

This is where we had lunch when we took the Ohara bus tour. I came up the road along the river from the parking lot and was just before climbing the stairs to Sanzen-in Temple. The three-tiered lunch box gives you a luxurious feeling. We had a great time admiring the beautiful garden.

From the moment we arrived, I knew this would be an experience like no other. We were greeted at the taxi and guided into the lobby where we were asked to remove our shoes and given slippers for use inside during our stay. We were then escorted to the dining hall for tea and pastries. When we were relaxed from our journey to Kyoto, we were given a tour of the ryokan and our room. We had a few hours before dinner, so enjoyed the beautiful Onsen. While each accommodates four guests, we had them to ourselves. We then enjoyed the quiet room overlooking the garden and offering an assortment of beer, sake, coffee, tea, juices, and travel reading. I truly think the only thing missing in the stay was some light spa music in the quiet room.Dinner and breakfast! A feast for the senses: beautiful, aromatic, and delicious. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.Highly recommend! I only wish for another day to explore the surrounds and enjoy the ryokan more.

#KYOTO Gourmet #Ryokan SerioA local wild vegetable restaurant specializing in Sanzenin vegetarian food, it is also a super high-end hot spring hotel. It was already noon when I walked to the entrance of Sanzen-in, and I was a little hungry. The restaurant was very clever and put many exquisite models at the entrance. I thought that I had not eaten tofu-type vegetarian dishes in this trip to Kyoto!Goose-yellow lighting and standard Japanese-style decoration, and the slightly bleak winter scenery outside the window, made the whole person slowly calm down.My friend and I ordered a set of boiled tofu and tofu skin. We thought the tofu was very soft and tender and the tofu skin tasted so silky! There are many kinds of side dishes. The shrimps are very fresh. Among them, the fried rice cakes served in the form of thickened soup amaze me. They are very delicious. Inside the small green package is mochi with a very magical taste🤣3000¥ per person is not cheap, but it’s not bad to experience it once~#servicesupergood #Watching tofu cooking is soothing
