This hotel is a scam. Do not book unless you're willing to risk losing money.I booked this hotel through Agoda, a platform I’ve used without any issues in the past. The hotel's refund policy at the time of booking stated 'free cancellation' was available up to 7 days before my check-in date (Nov 4th). However, when I received my confirmation email, it mentioned free cancellation was allowed within 48 hours of the booking date, which seemed odd but manageable.Despite requesting a cancellation within the 48-hour window, my request was denied. I submitted two more requests, both of which were ignored. Unfortunately, since Agoda has to act as a liaison with the hotel, if the hotel refuses or, in this case, ignores the requests, there’s nothing they can do. I’m shocked to find myself scammed by a hotel in Tokyo. I will continue to dispute this directly with the hotel and with Agoda.I have to wait almost three weeks before I can request to dispute this through my bank.

It's close to the subway station and a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku.What's disappointing is that the duvet cover that covers the room doesn't completely cover it, so it's a bit uncomfortable. Good value for money

Thanks to inbound tourists, you can stay at hotels at relatively low prices, with prices almost double what they were a few years ago. The rooms are small and the building itself is old, but I don't think it will be a problem if you are just staying there. It was also helpful to be able to store my luggage before check-in. If you are a big person, the unit bath may be small and inconvenient. I appreciate that there is coffee service in front of the front desk. It's convenient because it's close to the station and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The only thing that makes me nervous is wanting them to come out with a key that has a traditional key chain attached to it. (Of course, you can also leave it at the front desk.)

15 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station! Shinjuku Gyoenma has stations located 5 minutes away, making it easy to get around! I am satisfied with the cleanliness, price, location, and facilities! Although there was nothing to see, I was still satisfied! Everything will continue! ^__^

The hotel starts from the 2nd floor, so you have to carry your suitcase up. It's been so long. You should come and experience a retro hotel. It's not a card key, it's a metal key that you have to turn to insert it. But the bedding and other things are spotless and clean. It seems like they take good care of it.
