There were fireworks on the day we stayed.I could see Lake Biwa from the window of my room, and since it was on a slightly higher ground, there were no buildings blocking the fireworks, so I was able to see them very clearly. In the morning, it was a good location where you could see the sunrise from the mountain on the opposite shore of Lake Biwa.

It was my first time staying here. Since I live in Gifu Prefecture, I always head towards the sea and this was my first visit to Shiga Prefecture.First of all, the man at the front desk when I made a reservation over the phone was very helpful, so I decided to make a reservation right away. I think first impressions are especially important because you can't see their faces. The staff working at the inn were all very nice and helpful. The staff at the shop, the dining area, the staff in the bathrooms, and the cleaning staff all had very pleasant customer service, and from the time we arrived until the time we checked out. It really warmed my heart.Although we were a little late for our scheduled arrival at 3 o'clock, they were waiting for us outside the entrance. The exterior and interior are both beautiful. When I entered the lobby, I was served peach tea and chocolate in a nice atmosphere, listened to the meal times and explanations, was able to see the interior of the hotel in a relaxed manner, and had a nice faint smell from the hotel. Both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were made with amazingly delicate handicrafts, a luxurious selection of items, and the taste was very delicious.Although I have traveled a lot, I was very impressed with the attentiveness and hospitality.Since it was a weekday, everyone staying at the hotel may have had some time, but I was able to relax and forget about the hardships of everyday life.Mochi red bean azuki is a snack to feed insects before dinner. Jiggly and chewy, with a gentle sweetness. It was written that it was the most popular product at the store, and it was nice to see information about popular items.I don't drink aperitifs or alcohol with dinner, but it's only a little, so I'm kind of happy to be able to toast at the beginning of a party.First of all, it was a 8-inch square bowl with a lid, and the excitement of opening the lid made me scream out loud the moment I saw the food.It was a dish that looked ahead to autumn, and the flavor and aroma of the matsutake mushroom soup stock was delicious. The shabu-shabu is made with Japanese beef, but it has a soft marbling, and the soup stock was so good that I drank up the soup in the small pot.My eyes, nose, and mouth felt excited. You can feel the sincerity in each and every dish, and I live in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture, where the Masegawa River, which has become the best sweetfish in Japan in terms of taste, flows below my garden. The salt-grilled sweetfish you gave me is my favorite because it is small in size. The eggs overflowed, and I ate them from the head, but the way they were grilled was exquisite, and the sweetfish was plump and well-grilled, and I could feel the deliciousness of the eggs and internal organs.I learned how to grill sweetfish with my eyes and mouth.I would like to express my gratitude to the head chef and all the people behind the scenes who prepare the food. The hospitality dishes were packed in small bowls, and the squid sashimi was delicious, the sea bream seasoned with kelp, the bonito, and even the tsuma were delicious. My junior high school teacher and my student all ate it, saying how happy it was and how delicious it was.I was served by two people, a gentlemanly man with a deep voice and a very pretty young woman with fair-skinned eyes and a lovely smile.I was very proud of their attentiveness and conversation with each word. I felt that he took pride in his work, and I felt that he had a sense of professionalism. When I asked a cute woman for a recommendation for lunch the next day, a man came over right away and even used his smartphone to check if the restaurant he had recommended was temporarily closed, which made me happy. The breakfast at this inn is of course delicious, with a wide variety of items, and of a high standard.Of course, the physical aspects of the building and the accommodation were good, but the warmth of interacting with people made me feel good from the inside out.It took a while, but the bath was nice, and although the open-air bath wasn't that big, there was real bamboo growing there, like a mini-bamboo forest, and it had a really nice atmosphere. My room was 406, and as soon as I entered the room, I was happy to see the large windows and the beautiful view of Lake Biwa. The only thing is that the refrigerator is like a storage room and cannot be refrigerated, so I asked the front desk to refrigerate room-temperature drinks until the next day.The shop is open until late at night, and I enjoyed seeing it many times, and the customer service was wonderful, so I became a big fan of this inn.I'm sure each person has a different feeling, but we were very impressed. At the time of payment, I received a 4,000 yen coupon that I could use next time.I will definitely visit again in November.Thank you very much to all the staff for giving us such wonderful memories.

I decided that my mother and I would like to stop by and take advantage of the hot springs. My elderly mother has bad legs, so I requested a free pick-up service in advance, but customers who do not stay overnight or eat cannot be picked up or dropped off. That's what I was told.I think they are the same customer because they use the hot springs and pay the appropriate usage fee even if they do not stay overnight or eat, but I don't understand why there is a distinction. When I asked them why, they just said it was our company's policy.Even on our website, there is no mention that ``We cannot pick up or drop off customers who are stopping by.'' However, on the contrary, it does not say "-It is possible." Then, it was cut back.I think they are discriminating rather than differentiating customers. This kind of inn that looks down on you is the worst!I will definitely not use it again in the future.
