Apart from the fact that the room is a bit small, some decoration is needed to accommodate Erka's 29-inch fat suitcase. The window faces the window of the next building, and the curtains can only be drawn up. The supplies section in the lobby is very popular, and the replenishment time is sufficient. Not much. If you want to get a facial mask, you have to be lucky. The breakfast is also rich in variety. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. Overall, 4.5 stars.

I used it when I went to visit my daughter and grandson who live in Tokyo.Right in front of Takadanobaba, the lobby has a large mural and self-check-in machines.Although it was a self-check-in, a staff member came out from the front desk and took care of the procedure. It can be confusing if you don't know how to apply.A card key is issued and you cannot access your room without the card. At first, I was confused because the elevator didn't work. The room was larger than the business hotel and felt clean. It is barrier-free.Because it's in the city center, what you see outside the window is the building next door. The view is not what you would expect at all.I could only choose a course without a meal, but there was a restaurant on the first floor, and there were many convenience stores and fast food restaurants nearby, so I didn't have any trouble finding a place to eat.

My friends and I stayed here October 2024. The rooms were nice and clean. It's very close to the station and on the Yamanote line that we used constantly. It's only one stop from Shinjuku station. It's also right next to a Don Quijote. If you want to visit Shinjuku but want a more affordable, safer, and quieter area to stay in then I'd really recommend Takadanobaba. We only spoke english and didn't have issues communicating. There was a designated english speaker who helped us with check-in, and later when I needed help arranging transportation for my next hotel I worked with someone less fluent but we whipped out google translate and had no problem communicating. They were extremely friendly and one of the highlights of the hotel.

Very close to the subway; there are many restaurants nearby; there are also supermarkets; and Don Quijote is next to it. Very convenient. The high floors are not noisy; the room is not big; but the bathroom is a bit smelly. There were guests smoking secretly in the room; the smell of smoke was very strong in the corridor.

Exceptional value for the money as long as you are more of a self-sufficient traveler. Incredibly convenient location right across from the train station. The staff were all kind and helpful though they did not speak a lot of English if that’s a concern. Lots of quality single serving toiletries available for guest pickup in the lobby, as well as other items available by request like ice packs! Fantastic breakfast options. The room itself was quite small but very comfortable and very quiet, and the bathroom and shower especially were very nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was very quiet and the maid service offers both a fresh towel option and room clean option. My only complaint is a lack of laundry services. There are only 3 laundry machines for this 10+ floor building. We got lucky most of the time when we went to do ours but saw long lines at times. I would suggest eliminating a guest room on the 4th floor and adding additional laundry as I wouldn't think guests would enjoy staying so close to them anyways.

Hotel well located, room rather clean. On the other hand, the laundry is not efficient and not very clean and above all the air conditioning system is right in front of the bed, which is very unpleasant because you quickly get too cold, then too hot when you turn it off.I actually caught a cold on this occasion, which impacted the rest of my stay in terms of comfort.
