I was suddenly invited to a company dinner party.It was a great restaurant, with perfect scores for the storefront, atmosphere, customer service, appearance of the food, and taste.Every dish was prepared with care, and the taste was such that you could feel the flavor of the high-quality ingredients to the fullest.They also had drinks that went well with each dish, such as Ayu Highball and Kuma Highball, and they were very delicious.Also, in August, sweetfish is the main dish, and when I compared the tastes of sweetfish, I was very surprised to see that the taste and texture were completely different depending on where they were caught. Since it was in season, all the sweetfish were delicious.Also, I heard that you can enjoy bear cuisine in the winter, so I thought I'd definitely try that as well.

The atmosphere, taste, and customer service are very polite and I would like to visit again.I would like to do my best to make a reservation during the Kumanabe season, but this famous restaurant is so popular that it is difficult to get a reservation.However, I was able to go this summer, and my company invited me, so I decided to go.All of the course meals were delicious, and the bear hotpot dishes were served, so I was really satisfied!I will work hard so that I can be invited again.

When I tasted the sweetfish, I was impressed by how different the tastes of the same sweetfish can be just because they are caught in different places.The hospitality and the smiling faces of the staff are top-notch, and although it takes an hour by car from Shiga or Kyoto, reservations are coming in every day.There was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to go with the meal, such as Ayu Highball and Kuma Highball.In winter, Kumanabe seems to be the main dish, so I'd like to try that as well.

I visit here every year during sweetfish season.Not only was the sweetfish delicious, but this year there were many different dishes other than sweetfish, which I enjoyed.I had heard in advance that the moon and soft-shelled turtle hotpots were missing, but they were served in bowls instead of hotpots, so I was able to enjoy them without any problems.The piping hot soup was very rich and soaked into my body and was really delicious.Lastly, I added salt-grilled sweetfish and was very satisfied.The sweetfish rice ochazuke was also delicious.It's located in the mountains, so it's difficult to get there, but the cool air and quiet atmosphere will soothe your soul no matter when you go.I'm also looking forward to next year's sweetfish.

It took about an hour by taxi from Kyoto Station. Compare the tastes of luxurious sweetfish while looking at the wonderful scenery. It was fluffy and very delicious. I would definitely like to try the bear hot pot next time.

I didn't eat there, but it was a restaurant that ordinary people like me would have to force a lot of effort to enter.When I passed by the store, it looked pretty stylish and I thought I should go in. That's what I thought, but when I looked into it later, I was surprised at the price 😵Depending on the season, you can also eat bear meat.I was surprised to find such a high-class shop in such a place 😌

This is my third time going here, and I had the customary ``sweetfish eating'' course.We thoroughly enjoyed sweetfish with three salt-grilled sweetfish from Lake Biwa and Azumigawa and sweetfish rice!The way it's grilled is the best.The taste of the sashimi (washed carp, wild eel, roast deer beef), Hassun, soft-shelled turtle and bear meat soup was also good.

If you have a car or can go from within Kyoto city without worrying about taxi fares, it might be a good idea to book a return taxi from within Kyoto city in advance. A place where you can enjoy seasonal dishes such as seasonal sweetfish, deer/boar, and wild vegetables. We also accept overnight stays, so you can also use it as an auberge. For people with disabilities or those who would like to enjoy delicious food in a casual setting, consider choosing the chair seating plan and having your meal at the restaurant on the 1st floor. We also operate a mail order site for seasonal dishes.

Ayu manpuku meal at a chair seat. The sweetfish from Lake Biwa are small in size and can be fished from the head to the bone, making them fragrant. The carp doesn't smell bad after washing, and the grilled eel is rich in fat and delicious.

My husband and I visited for the first time on a weekday lunch, as we had a reservation for a chair seat, so we could eat sweetfish. Not only the main course, ayu, but the other dishes were also absolutely delicious. I would definitely like to visit again.

I came here because I wanted to eat bear hot pot. The customer service, the taste of the food, and the atmosphere of the restaurant are among the best among the restaurants I've visited. If I had to say, I've eaten bear meat that had a more nutty, sweet flavor, but since it's wild game, it's inevitable that there will be individual differences. The boar meat had no odor at all and was very delicious. Also, the carp had a firm body and just the right amount of fat, making it an exquisite dish.

It is now famous for its Tsukinabe. Tsuki-nabe is a name given by the owner because of the use of Asiatic black bear, but I think it was a clever name. The season starts around November every year and is something to look forward to for about half a year until the end of the May holidays. Autumn and winter are good, but I prefer spring when I eat it with wild vegetables. And the combination with Hana Sansho in mid-April is exquisite.From June to September, all you can eat is sweetfish. It was originally known as a famous sweetfish restaurant, which is also wonderful. It's completely different from what you get at other restaurants.Autumn is the season for mushrooms, including matsutake. It takes an hour by car from Kyoto, but it is a famous restaurant that is worth it. The problem is whether or not you can make a reservation.
