I stayed here on a holiday. It is located about an 8-minute walk from Hakone Onsen, along a river lined with hot springs. It is a family-run hotel, and the staff at the inn were very thorough in explaining the facilities, which I really appreciate. You can also reserve a private open-air bath once during your stay, and I was soothed by the wonderful bath.Since it's not a large accommodation facility, there aren't many people and you can really relax, so we recommend it.I will use it again!

This is a quiet inn for adults. It was very relaxing. The food was also delicious. The private open-air bath has an atmosphere similar to a private open-air bath in a detached room, and is spacious and can be enjoyed in a relaxing and quiet manner. The indoor bath is small, but you can relax. There are quite a few steps inside the building, so if you are elderly or have trouble walking, you may want to be a little careful. There are sturdy handrails installed in places with steps, including the bathroom, so if you can hold onto them for support, you'll be fine. It's a good inn.

Worst accommodation experience – Hot spring tripI stayed here on a family trip and it was a terrible experience that completely disappointed me. Throughout, I was very disappointed with the unreasonable service, rude staff, and poorly managed facilities.First of all, even though check-in time was scheduled to start at 3:00 pm, when we arrived at 4:00 pm, we were told that the private bath time had already been taken. I had zero options, and there was no sign that my situation would be considered, and I was coldly dismissed and told that I could not negotiate. Dinner was unilaterally decided to be at 6pm and breakfast at 8am, a forced schedule that completely ignored our convenience. I was traveling with my family from Germany, and I thought they would be a little more flexible, but they said, ``If you don't like it, you can cancel, but there will be a cancellation fee,'' as if we were a nuisance. It was treated like. The facilities were even worse. There was mold growing in the air conditioner, the bathroom was full of dust, and the environment did not feel clean at all. The certificate posted has already expired, and it is obvious that the management is sloppy. Moreover, the moment you enter the small room, which costs 60,000 yen per night, it feels as hot as a sauna. The air conditioner wasn't working, and an elderly female staff member apologized saying the timer was broken, but that doesn't explain it. In the end we were forced to stay in the extremely hot weather. When we tried to order something for dinner, we rang the bell and no one came, so we ended up having a self-service dinner ourselves even though we had paid a hefty price. I have no idea what "hospitality" is.Furthermore, the hot springs are just boiling water, and the temperature is not controlled at all. The shower facilities were unusable and the environment was not relaxing at all. And at night, I couldn't sleep at all because either the air conditioner was too loud or it was too hot.fee systemThe worst part was that we couldn't enter the number of children in advance, so we were charged an additional 35,000 yen on-site. We were told that this included a self-service dinner and bedding, but we were never given any prior explanation about this. I was looking forward to it as a family trip, but it just turned out to be an unpleasant experience. When I asked the young staff member, ``Why are you treating me so coldly?'', all she said was ``Please cancel,'' and I didn't feel that they were sincere at all. Afterwards, an older staff member told me that they were having a hard time due to the recent earthquakes and typhoons, but this had nothing to do with me. I can't believe that even though I paid 120,000 yen, I was treated so badly. This was a completely fraudulent experience.SummaryThis accommodation was totally not worth the price. I've lived in Japan for over 15 years and understand the harshness of the tourism industry, but this is the first time I've had an experience this bad. If you are considering staying at this inn, you should think twice. I will thoroughly communicate my experience through Rakuten and request that appropriate action be taken.

The landlady treated us with salt from beginning to end. After I returned home, I inquired about the lost item, but without checking, I was immediately told that it was not there. Of all the hot spring hotels I've been to, the customer service was the worst.

This is THE place to stay in Hakone! I had such a wonderful, relaxing stay here! The couple that runs the inn were so caring and welcoming. I got my shoes dirty from a hike, and they offered to clean them for me! The private bath was beautiful and the rooms were luxurious. The food was also delicious and beautifully plated. and I’d definitely stay here again.

A family-run hot spring hotel with not many rooms and friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast were a surprise, and the food was delicious.

A small but comfortable traditional inn close to Hakone Yuumoto Station. We walked a short distance from 1 bus stop after the train station, which was manageable with 2 large luggages. The establishment was exceptionally clean and staff were very welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable (we stayed in a Japanese style room with futons). Lovely indoor public bath and outdoor bath (by reservation, included in stay). Delicious breakfast and dinner.
