Stayed at the auto camp site in mid-October for one night for over ¥8,000. Spacious pitches with grill and tap (ask for a key), no lake view (lake view in the normal campsites. But there are no showers and that is unacceptable given the high price! The bathroom was closed and people were referred to the onsen in Hakone. Unacceptable.

Comments based on campground : nice location but poor value:- no showers - just a public bath that is open 16:00-20:00 for an extra y600 per person- only 4 car camp spots with electricity- car camp spot without electricity was 12500 yen- no swimming in lake

I walked along the west bank of Lake Ashi and passed through it. Take the 16:30 bus from Togendai bus stop to Odawara station (¥1,440). There is a traffic jam all the way to Hakone Yumoto, so you will be 25 minutes late. 2024/8/14

I gave up on my usual camping trip in Minami Izu during the extremely hot summer and ended up with the lowest temperature at a high altitude.I found it when I was looking around 24℃. Auto camping is very convenient as each site has water and a stove. There were almost no insects in the toilet building, so I was able to relieve myself in peace. The public bath, which was like a public bath and had shampoo for 600 yen with a towel, was clean and nice, but the 19:30 entry deadline of 20:00 is too early, so I wish they would improve it by moving it back an hour.

Previously we used a tent site, but this time we used Kevin (cottage). It was quiet and I enjoyed it.

I used a tent site for solo camping. The cost was ¥5,750 for one night and two days, including parking fee.The tent site is more like a forest than a lakeside, and you can't really see the lake from the site. You can't drive up to the site, so I loaded up my luggage in a cart, but since I had a lot of luggage, it was difficult to walk up the hill on the way.I was drenched in sweat, especially since it was midsummer. The bath is not a hot spring, but you can use the large public bath for ¥600.On the same day, there was a fireworks festival at Lake Ashinoko, so we were able to see the fireworks.

Relaxing solo camping on the shores of Lake Ashinoko. There is a slope between the parking lot and the parking lot, so you have to work a little hard to carry your luggage, but it doesn't bother me too much. . The restrooms and administration building were also clean and comfortable. We also recommend taking a walk ♪

A cart is provided from the parking lot to the site, but it's okay to go down. However, returning from the site is difficult. I couldn't go home without giving in to the total weight of my camping gear. . The check-out counter was unfriendly. Other than that, I thought it was good.
