I always use the hot springs for day trips. There are only two baths in the women's bath, but there is a kids' room, footbath, and drink bar, so you can enjoy it even with children.

Have only stayed one night so far but already had to review - this place is amazing! It's truly an escape, nestled in a small and calm area of Japan countryside. The amenities are the most generous I've encountered. There are two private onsens and a public one for each gender. There is a lovely outdoor hot footbath and a gas bonfire to sit around, surrounded by trees and fairy lights. The library area is large and even includes a selection of English manga - not to mention possibly the best part, free beer and liquor/soda you can mix yourself and treats like sponge cake and cream, creme brulee style pudding and coffee jellies, all self serve from 7pm to 10pm. You put on your yukata and putter down to the library, pour yourself a drink and grab some treats, go find a nice book to read and choose a comfy pillow from a literal wall of pillows. The front staff were so friendly and accommodating and my partner and I were immediately impressed - almost shocked by what a lovely experience it was! They also upgraded our tiny room to a much larger one for free, which really made our experience all the better. I will be highly recommending this hotel to anyone who wants to pass through and visit the lovely Hakone.

We visited in October and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were exactly as described (very well maintained and comfortable). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and staff and visitors alike were welcoming to families. Their buffet style breakfast offered an array of choices that most people would enjoy. The bathing rooms were peaceful, along with the other areas within the hotel (library, playroom, and more). We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Great location for your visit around the Hakone loop. Our room was fantastic and the staff were super friendly. We had an evening meal there one evening as well (drinks included) and that was great value and delicious.

Stayed in a condo with my 0 year old and 3 year old.Honestly, I don't want to stay at this hotel again.・It's an auto-locking apartment rather than a condo, so everything including meals and kids space must be outside.(Luckily it was sunny, but I think rainy days are the worst)(The 2nd and 4th floors were accessed by stairs because the elevator didn't stop, and my house was on the 3rd floor, so I took the elevator.)(Transportation between the west and east buildings is indoors, but there are about 20 stairs)・As there are many stairs, the use of strollers is restricted.Although I knew this from reviews, it was still inconvenient.・The coffee server in the condominium building is not managed, so there is no coffee and no cleaning is done for a day.・Elevator is extremely narrow・Since I mentioned that I had a 0-year-old child, I was hoping that they would provide a baby bathtub, soap, etc., but they only provided diapers and trash cans, so I had to tell them exactly what I needed.・The bed was so damp that I couldn't sleep (they changed the bedding immediately after I contacted them)・The baby food is helpful, but the variety on the buffet is quite limited, and the main meat is dry (maybe the only seasoning is miso?)・The worst thing wasCockroaches and cockroaches kept coming out of the bedroom.By the way, the general parking lot seems to be a short walk from the hotel. There were only three parking spaces in the condominium building, and our house was empty, so we were able to park there.I was really looking forward to it,It was a disappointing hotel.
