A hotel with a very high CP value. There is no hotel in Japan with hot springs and bungalows that costs less than 6,000 yen (yen) per person. It is also within a 5-minute walk of the Hakone Museum of Art. Although it does not serve meals, it does have a kitchen, refrigerator, and pots and pans. Ladle Pot, I have been staying at this hotel since the days of the current owner's mother, and it is highly recommended.

The treatment we received as guests was exceptional and having an indoor onsen, and a smaller outdoor one (a tub), almost exclusively for us was fantastic. …

At 92 years old ObaChan is still greeting and welcoming customers in Hakone. Very centrally located. If I had known about this place would have booked!! Just a delight and worth visiting for an authentic experience. Walk up the hill to 7/11 or down to Hakone Open Air Art Museum. Chisu Falls also nearby.

Had a lovely two night stay here. I found out about it via Lonely Planet although was struggling to find much about it online. What a gem! I’d definitely recommend staying here. …

I had an authentic and lovely stay at this homely and simple ryokan, run by a friendly and helpful owner and her charming 90-year-old mum. |The must-see Open Air Museum and the Okada Museum are at walking distance.
