Uenoya is a long-established inn in Yugawara with a history of over 300 years.Thank you for taking care of us on our annual family trip (including elementary school students). The baths are all sourced from the source, and you will feel warm for a long time after getting out of the bath.No wonder a resident of Yugawara told me, ``It's the best hot spring in Yugawara.''The hot springs here are amazing for kids too! I took a bath many times. In addition, each dish is carefully prepared,Everything was delicious.I've been to various hotels and passenger hotels so far, and the quality of the food is really high! The inside of the building was well maintained. The floor is shiny too! The restrooms here and there had washlets and were clean. The staff at the inn were very welcoming and we had a wonderful time.I would like to visit this quaint inn from the Showa era at least once a year.

Although it was a holiday, I was able to enjoy a small and cozy place with two meals included for this price that felt like exploring up and down the stairs (the stairs may be difficult for elderly people). The first footbath I took after arriving was the best.Of course, I was able to relax in the hot springs.I would like to visit again when I want to relax by myself without passing by too many people.

For an inimitable experience of Japanese tradition and attentive service spend a couple nights at Uenoya. We loved the century-old house with maze-like hallways and our pristine and comfortable tatami-mat rooms with tea service. The dinners and breakfasts were copious and delicious. I do not think I have tried so many types of fish – prepared in so many different ways – in one meal ever before. The onsens include two public onsens, one with a hot bath and another with a hot and a super hot bath; two family onsens with hot baths; and foot baths on the roof with a hillside view. (There are no cold baths/saunas.) All the hotel staff was incredibly diligent and friendly. Highly recommend.

The old buildings from the early Showa period create the atmosphere of a hot spring town like no other. The hot springs and food were wonderful and I would like to visit again.

The friendly (landlady?) person talked to me during the meal, but when she served me the rice, I was impressed by the way she served it to me without touching the rim of the bowl. There is a warm atmosphere even if you come with children or family.

Available with a plan that includes a room bath. The structure of the inn was like a maze, so I was able to escape from everyday life and enjoy the wonderful hot springs. The rice was also very delicious with a gentle seasoning. However, it was difficult for my husband to get drinks inside the facility even though it was prohibited to bring them in. remains dissatisfied.Around 8pm, there was no one at the front desk, which also served as a shop, so I called, but no one came.As I waited patiently, I was greeted by an old man who appeared to be the owner with an annoyed look on his face.I heard that the shop is open until around 11pm, so I don't think it's a rude time...Is it structurally difficult to install a vending machine? When I was leaving the inn, I passed the host, so I gave him a nod, but he ignored me, and I ended up talking to the landlady, blocking the exit.I try to respect the elderly, but it's simply unpleasant. Most of the guests were elderly, so younger guests might be disappointed.Mainly your husband? I have some complaints about this, but once I closed my eyes, I was very satisfied with the hot springs, atmosphere, and food.I think I'll ask again.I strongly hope that the issues we are dissatisfied with will be resolved when the husband changes generations.
