Wonderfully peaceful and quiet, it is a steep walk up but more than worth it. The Onsen is lovely and the rooms are very neat.

The most positive: common living room: beautiful. ideal for teleworking, or chatting with other travelers. Very complete kitchen and dining room with comfortable tables, and kitchen equipped with everything. Very correct cleaning.Typical Japanese rooms, simple, but correct. To improve: room insulation.

No doubt, the best hostel I've been to; feels more like a budget hotel, honestly. The onsen is awesome, both indoors and outdoors, the staff are very helpful and nice, there is a huge common room, very good kitchen, the views are nice, the place is calm, the guests who stayed with me were cool, and the beds themselves are nice and clean inside a room with enough space. The only downside (which for me was not a biggie) was that it's not really in the centre of the action of Hakone, and on most days I had to walk ~15 minutes to take a bus to the area of all the parks onsens and museums.Anyway, 10/10 would come again

Although the location is a bit disappointing, it is truly the best accommodation in all aspects. The staff are really friendly and most of all, all the facilities and cleanliness are really good. The outdoor hot springs are great too!!

A very nice Hostel with a nice Onsen. We had a private room with private toilette. The service was very nice. The shared living hall area is very comfy. A very good value for money. It is in a more quiet area so you need to walk a bit from the station.Overall: definetly worth it also if you like to get the japanese futon and onsen experience in a relaxed environment.
