[2024.8.11㈰~12㈪㈷]It was the Obon holiday, so it was hard to find a place to stay, and love hotels charge both rest and accommodation fees if you enter before 10pm.I was tired from sightseeing and wanted to wash my sweaty body in the bath and go to bed early. So, excuse me, but this was the only place I could stay, so I stayed there. There were 6 rooms in total, and only the smallest twin room on the 2nd floor was available, and all the other guests were Chinese or Korean! It feels like a so-called share house. There was only one parking lot (see photo), and it was empty as no other guests came by car.Baths, toilets, washrooms, washing machines, kitchens, and refrigerators are shared. When you enter through the front door, there are places like this that feel like the Showa era these days! I was surprised💦However, there were no cheap places to stay during the Obon holiday, and this place also had a special rate for Obon (approximately 10,000 yen for two people, including accommodation tax of 200 yen per person), but I thought it would be better than sleeping in the car, so I put up with it.The twin room I stayed in was only about 3 tatami mats in size, and had only an air conditioner, a small square table, a trash can, hangers, a bath towel, and a power tap.The air conditioner filter had not been cleaned and was clogged (see photo). But the air conditioner was working somehow, so that was a relief! The lighting in the room was round fluorescent lights instead of LED.There are toilets on the 1st and 2nd floors, but the washlets are broken. There are baths on the 1st and 2nd floors, but you cannot store hot water in the bathtub on the 1st floor and the plug is unplugged.I didn't use the bathroom on the second floor because it felt like a unit bath was forcibly installed on the balcony (see photo). The sink (for one person) is only located next to the kitchen entrance on the first floor, and there is a hand-washing area next to the washing machine in the changing room of the bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster oven, and plenty of cooking utensils, so I think you can cook your own meals. There is also a 7-Eleven and McDonald's nearby. The room key is a simple one (see photo) and security is not good. All rooms are non-smoking, but there was a notice in the room that said to smoke on the balcony on the second floor, so when I went there, I found that I had to stand on the tin roof behind the unit bath on the balcony to smoke. There was no ashtray and no fence on the balcony (see photo) so it was a little scary!Wi-Fi was available and there was a device on the wall in the hallway on the second floor, but I couldn't connect even after entering the password.I was tired so I went to bed early, but the building was old and the window sashes didn't seal well, so I was quite bothered by the noise from the cars on the main road next to it.You can also hear the voices and sounds of guests in the surrounding rooms. What I hated the most was that a Chinese family (parents and two small children) came to check in just before midnight, and the small children were so happy that they entered the room in a loud voice and then took a bath. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep because I was talking all the time until I went to sleep!Do you live in a room on the second floor that doesn't have a room number? The male owner didn't pay any attention to us!But this kind of thing may be normal for people who are backpacking.
