This is an incredible Ryokan. I had the best sleep of my life. Relaxing, cozy, and inviting property with a peaceful onsen. The kaiseki dinner was a great experience. When we checked out they remembered what shoes we were wearing and had them ready at the door. Thank you to Saori for being so welcoming and for her wonderful service!

One of the highlights of our entire trip. We felt so well taken care of during the course of our stay; the hospitality is impeccable. The Kaiseki meal for dinner was beautiful and delicious, and breakfast felt just as special. Our room felt like we were transported to a different era but with all the modern amenities needed. Both the private and public onsens were the perfect break between our bustling journeys at cities. We'd love to return if we ever get the chance!

Everything about this inn is wonderful.I was very tired from work and wanted to go to Hakone, so I found this ryokan and stayed there.Unfortunately, it was raining heavily that day, so I thought it would be a bad day, but as soon as I entered the inn, I was greeted by the information desk, and it was wonderful.I also like the atmosphere inside and get excited.I entered the room and said that I had stayed in various rooms with open-air baths, but this was the best.I used the hot spring in my room many times, and I always used it once every hour. The scenery was good and it was very relaxing.I was disappointed that there were a lot of leaves falling in the public bath, but the bath in the room was very nice and I was very satisfied.I ate the meal for over 2 hours, but it was so delicious.I was satisfied from beginning to end, and there was always at least one thing that bothered me, but this one was perfect.I'm looking forward to going there again, but my plans don't match up so I gave up.Thank you to everyone who has continued to serve us.It was the best tripIf I have free time on my next vacation, I will definitely go stay overnight.I wish I could use it for wedding anniversaries etc.I don't think you will be able to reserve the room you like, so I think you should be fine as long as you reserve well in advance!

Honestly, Hakone was the most disappointing thing about my trip to Japan. Since everything was closed and I had to walk a lot. The hotel is nice, but it is a little old and it shows in many details. The attention at reception and restaurant, exquisite like everything that has to do with Japanese hospitality. Although the truth is, I found the dinner super interesting, and I really enjoyed it since I tried dishes that I would never try in other places. But I didn't like the breakfast. It's too much food for me so early in the morning, and too heavy for me. I have had the experience but I would not repeat it. The onsen in our room was great, but unfortunately, the public onsen, which was what I was most excited about, I couldn'tI got into it because it was so hot, it burned me. Negative point, the transfer issue. The bus runs horrible in that area and the hotel doesn't make it easy for you. They only pick you up where it suits them and honestly, as a tourist it is not easy to get there. In the end I had to pay for a taxi that cost me a fortune and when I returned they only left me at a very poorly connected station where I got lost on the train. Honestly, it was the most expensive hotel I paid for in Japan, and in some things it was not up to par. For that price you expect more. In general, Hakone was a disappointment and it is the only thing I will repeat on my next trip to Japan. Because it wasn't up to par and because I want to see other places.
