The videos on YouTube did not lie. Cavernous luxurious rooms with a ginormous super king bed and your own private hot spring bath on a patio overlooking a pond and surrounded by lush forest and sounds of the river below. …

We arrived late afternoon and were immediately made to feel welcomed. The Resort was a beautiful blend of modern and traditional Japanese styles. Every detail was thought of, down to the special choice of feminine kimono for my partner. …

The setting, the rooms, and the food - all absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are incredibly spacious (the beds are so comfortable) and well-designed. The private onsens were exactly what we wanted in a ryokan experience. …

Great quiet location and comfy rooms! The outside bath in the crisp mountain air was truly relaxing, and the refillable fridge was an extra nice treat. Food was solid, decent breakfast, delicious teppanyaki experience. Staff was always incredibly helpful and friendly, most spoke English quite well which was great as an American.

Consider the money I spent, nothing but ordinary. Breakfast was small portion. The dinner was just okay even though we added $100 usd per person. The suites has poor quality. Snacks bar is useless with limit option. Overall, just so so.

Definitely a 10/10. This is literally the best experience we’ve had in Japan. Wonderful room (love the beddings), such private and comfy onsen, excellent food, superior service and staff. The highlight is they provided a birthday dessert during dinner even my birthday is ten days later. They’ve noticed my birthday on my passport and decided to give me this sweet little surprise that really hit me! I’ll recommend to all of my friends and will definitely come back again!
