1-3 Oct. 2024If you have another choice, don't choose this Live Max!The location was good, a train station, cafes and shops nearby (5 or less min walking). The staff was friendly. But the room was dirty and stained; seriously, the inside of the toilet was dirty with... 💩 (sorry I forgot taking pics), hair and mold on shower curtains. Dust and smelly window curtains.I was in a hurry for a 'last minute reservation' and made it at this hotel, because of the price and location. When arrived, they told that there was ONLY one room, but it was a "smoking room", and we couldn't open the window or have incense... so it was awful smelly. 🚬Below the bed, lots of furrballs and more dust.

I was able to stay at a good price on trivago, and I was generally satisfied with the cleanliness and no complaints. The location was great, right in front of the Takasegawa River.

This is a typical Japanese hotel, and I enjoyed (and extended) my stay. Ok, the first night the air con wasn't very strong so I moved rooms and the new room was better but not fantastic. …

The nearest train station is Keihan Kiyomizu Gojo Station, but it is not convenient for those who use Hankyu or the subway. It's a quiet place on the banks of the Takase River, but there aren't many reasonably priced restaurants for dinner. There is a supermarket FRESCO, a sauna called Umeyu, and Ichihime Shrine is also nearby. There was no welcome drink, but I was impressed by the reception at the front desk. The guest room is larger than I expected and has most of the things you need, including Amethyst. No stick coffee or green tea bags etc.It is said to have opened in May 2019, but judging from the steps in the bathroom and the facilities, it seems like it has been renovated. The chorus of frogs in the Takase River flowing in front of me was so beautiful. Stayed on July 7, 2024
