I found out about this place while searching Google for accommodations that allow pets. I thought about making a decision after reading the reviews, but I was surprised by the unbelievably low overall rating of 2.8.I read all the reviews wondering, "What's wrong with that?" However, even though the accommodation rate was reasonable, the hygiene was poorly rated, so it was better to avoid staying there. I thought so, but since some people had positive reviews, I decided to try it out and see for myself, so I applied for accommodation.A Google search said pets were allowed, but the website said pets weren't allowed, so I hurriedly called to confirm, and a person who appeared to be the company president answered in a soft tone, saying, "It's okay." So I went out without canceling my reservation.I was concerned about the reviews saying that the room was old and had a musty smell, so I brought disinfectant spray, but there was no odor that bothered me, and I was alone with one budgie. They prepared an 8 tatami room for us, and the spacious windows with 3 curtain rails gave us a sense of openness and made us feel comfortable. It was nice that there was a washroom right next to the room and three sinks, but as mentioned in the reviews, the smell of the toilet was unpleasant.I have a hip joint problem, so I used the Western-style toilet a few meters away in the same hallway, but the cleaning in this area wasn't always good enough, so I felt depressed when I used it.Many of the employees here are elderly, and the president is over 80 years old (I saw this through an internet search), and when I checked in, he was slightly bent at the waist. Regardless, he prepared the meals himself. There was also a training camp for the local high school's boys basketball team, so they were busy preparing meals and serving for the 35-odd people.I spent the time thinking, ``There's nothing I can do about it...'' I shared the same dining venue with the training camp students and their teachers, and as I watched them, I remembered what it was like when I was a high school student. As a member of the basketball team, I fondly recalled going to several inns for training camps, and thought that these inns would be convenient and valuable for the campers. The wall of the main entrance is decorated with messages and autographs from students who have camped at this inn, testifying to its value."I wonder why they serve the same fried fish for breakfast for two days..." or "Why is the beef loin for dinner cut into pieces on the first day, and only a single piece on the second day..." I had a lot of questions and complaints like, ``It's different from the picture...Is the only side dish other than sukiyaki cold tofu?'' and ``Is it a stick that comes with coffee?'', but I used a Jalan coupon and got it for just 5,000 yen. I was very satisfied because I was able to stay one night with dinner and my pet bird stayed for free.I took a bath in a place with a bathtub for one person, and it was very clean inside, with no mold growing on it, and it was warm and comfortable enough for me to sit in the gym.In some small inns, there are signs posted asking you not to unplug the hot water in the public baths, but I was really grateful to be able to soak in the clean water from early in the morning. The quality of the conditioner shampoo and body soap was also good.If you think that you were able to stay in an old house in the countryside for a cheap price, I don't think you will get angry if something doesn't turn out well (*^^*)
