I stayed here for 2 nights for a tour using the Hakone Free Pass. The advantage is that the price was reasonable, so I was able to stay comfortably. I ordered breakfast and dinner and fell in love with the food prepared with care. The taste is clean and I can feel the culture of what Japanese home cooking is like. I especially like the dinner menu, which is diverse and fresh, like a multi-course meal. Also, among the hot spring baths, the main bath can be used separately for men and women, and is spacious, has a nice atmosphere, and the water is clean. The private family bath was also great for families to enjoy. The facility wasn't completely new, but it was clean. The only downside is that it is a 20-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, so it is a bit difficult to walk uphill with a carrier. Please take the ryokan shuttle bus. All of the staff at Yushintei were very friendly, and we are very grateful to them for providing us with a vehicle as our train time was approaching. Thank you for giving me great memories of my trip to Hakone, Japan. If I get the chance, this is an accommodation I would like to visit and stay again with my family, and this is an accommodation I would like to recommend to other people around me in Korea. Stay healthy and peaceful always. thank you

A family-run ryocan where you can breathe tradition... a small structure managed excellently with kindness and quality. It should be noted that some rooms have a private outdoor tub and that dinner is served privately in a personal room and is based on several courses of excellent quality. Very kind staff. There is a shuttle service that takes you from the station to the hotel but it has limited opening times.

The female Nakai who accompanied me was a very nice person. I am very grateful for your flexibility in responding to problems unique to women.I'm really thankful to you. However, the landlady was the worst. The first room I was shown to had a very musty smell and was not properly cleaned, which I couldn't stand considering the price of the room. I asked to change the room, but there was no apology until the end. I felt sick as I was left chatting lazily. The photos in other media looked very good, but I felt that they were different from the reality.I agree with the other reviewers.I think you should definitely consider other accommodations.

Nakai-san, the food is average, and I value hospitality. It's still no good.

Excellent ryokan! The staff's English is not great, but they tried their best and we were still able to communicate with google translate. Service was excellent, and the room was clean and in good condition. The private open-air bath was a real treat.

Everyone who comes to Japan should experience a traditional Ryokan. This place was great! From the people to the food. We had a private Onsen which made it more special but not essential as they have public ones, segregated though.
