It's a small, high-priced hotel with a small number of rooms, all with open-air baths, and only French cuisine is served for dinner, so despite being in Hakone, there are almost no foreigners staying here, so it's good. Furthermore, perhaps because it was a Sunday, there were no other guests, so it was quiet, and the hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere, with Japanese paintings (?) by Seikan Goma decorated everywhere. The room has a view of Lake Ashi and the mountains of Hakone from the hot spring open-air bath on the balcony, and is especially good at night and early in the morning. For dinner, it's hard to rate because I don't eat much French food, but it was creative French food made with Japanese ingredients, and even my 90-year-old mother said it was delicious. Overall, it was very good. If I have a chance, I would like to repeat it.

The open-air bath in the guest room felt like it was built on the balcony of the apartment, so it didn't feel like an open-air bath. There was an automatic check-in machine at the front desk, and the check-in process was done by the staff, but it felt like a business hotel, and I felt that the price setting and the atmosphere of the hotel did not match. The open-air bath in the large public bath was similar to the guest rooms and had a balcony feel. The sauna was 91℃, a space where about 3 people could use it at the same time, and the cold bath was 16℃. Perhaps because there aren't that many guest rooms and the rooms have open-air baths, I went to the public bath twice, once in the morning and once at night, but I didn't meet anyone. The creative French dinner was delicious with elaborate sauces. For me, it was just the right amount, but it seemed a little insufficient for young people, so I ordered extra lobster and steak. The view was not a panoramic view of Lake Ashi, but only part of Lake Ashi. I was lucky enough to see a sea of clouds.Unfortunately, there was a bug in the breakfast salad, and when my son noticed it and didn't eat it, the staff also noticed and removed the salad and replaced it, but the staff didn't say a word about it. I was surprised. Did you think it wasn't obvious?

I used it on a trip for a proposal.The staff kindly accepted my request to give a ring as a surprise, and even helped with the decoration of the room.The proposal went well and it was the best day ever.The dinner seemed complicated at first glance, but it was a wonderful meal that brought out the umami of the ingredients, harmonized the flavors, and allowed us to enjoy a variety of textures.Also, the open-air bath in the room was amazing!I would like to visit again someday to make memories. thank you very much.

I used it last month.It was a shame that you couldn't see Lake Ashi from the open-air bath in your room, but I think it can't be helped to protect your privacy.However, I am satisfied with the room and food.Since I stayed there from Friday, there were no people around and I was able to spend some time with my girlfriend.

The rooms are satisfactory.Customer service is average.I don't think I'll go again because the food quality is poor compared to the price.
