The location is very good and only a few minutes away from the main train station.Unfortunately, everything else is underground. The room smells very unpleasant and has water stains on the walls, the air conditioning keeps turning off and the thick down duvet makes it unbearably warm at 30 degrees.Cleanliness is not taken too seriously either. Messages can be written on the microwave provided, it is so sticky and dusty.

~One night from 2024.07.23~Within a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, there are many long-established inns in the residential area, and Higashi Honganji Temple is also nearby.A long-established inn with a history of over 100 years that allows dogs and pets at a super low price. (Daiya Ryokan)The owner, who has a sour voice, and the male staff with a gentle smile are very kind and polite, and love to talk in a pleasant Kyoto dialect. We had a lot of fun stories this time as well.(Also, since there are only male staff, there are no special considerations for female guests, so please prepare your own amenities. There are trash cans in convenient locations.)The first time I was taken care of was 4 years ago during the "corona disaster" (I posted a thank you review and a photo, but it disappeared on Google. I really hope Google will improve so that I can access it in one go!) The main building and the new building are... Last time we went to the Taisho Roman main building, which is lined up across the road and has a historical feel. This time we are looking at the new 3-story building. Last time it was reserved, but this time there were a lot of foreign guests, and when I greeted them with "hello," they responded with "hello," and I felt a little joy, saying, "I got through to you!" lol🏨 The new building has 3 rooms per floor on the 2nd and 3rd floors.🏨Amenities → Yukata, bath towel, hair dryer and cotton swabs in the washroom on the 1st floor (unfortunate as it's a bargain)🏨 Bath (1 house size) and 2 shower rooms (shampoo, conditioner, body soap included)🏨 10,000 yen for 2 adults, including dog(⚠️Differs depending on timing, reservation company, etc.)🏨 Restrooms are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The washroom is only on the first floor.🏨There is a sink, refrigerator, and vending machine on the first floor.🏨Washing machine available for those staying multiple nights → You can dry your clothes freely on the balcony (Kyoto Tower can be seen from the balcony)MO About 10 minutes walk to Kamogawa🏨Fami Mart right in front of you (7-Eleven and Ministop on the way to Kamogawa)🏨 There are also food restaurants and stylish cafes typical of Kyoto.🏨 World heritage temples are in a great location, 10 to 20 minutes by car.I will be indebted to you again someday! I forgot my earphones and left them at the reception desk, but I didn't have time so I left without even writing a thank you note. sorry! thank you very much!

Our room did not match the photos on the site at all. We were in another building, our room was very small (not the one reserved online on Booking) it smelled a lot of smoke in the corridors and the bathrooms were dirty (mold, hair lying everywhere, ..) (!! Beware of fake reviews…)The boss was, however, friendly and tried to give us information by translating with his phone.

Pro: close to the station, next to family mart, cheapCons: strong smell of smoke all the time, shower is old and not very clean, room too small for 2 people and 2 bags. It’s alright for 2 max 3 nights if you wanna save some, but is not so good.

They tried to give us a worse room than the one we booked. Communication is very difficult. The boss doesn't take calls. The building is very dirty, very old, neglected. Hair in the shower, a dead cockroach, smell of feet and air freshener. There is only 1 toilet per floor and a shower. They don't help you carry luggage. Uncomfortable tatami, no chairs, bad Internet. All bad!!

Although it was surprisingly reasonable, it was a very good accommodation.Although the room was compact, it had all the necessary facilities and was clean. The location was great and easy to access. This is an inn I would like to use again.
