There is a Yamazaki convenience store nearby.There weren't many restaurants nearby.Our plan was for breakfast only, but it was not a buffet style, and we had free refills of rice and drinks (coffee, tea, and water).The rest of the side dishes were Japanese style and small amounts were pre-served.If you have small children, there may not be much to eat.Eating is one of the pleasures of traveling, so I was a little disappointed.

The whole thing is old, so if you like new and clean things, you might want to avoid it.It is well taken care of.There was a dairy nearby within walking distance. The Hakone Tozan Railway station is also nearby.I was worried about the food at this price. However, it was very delicious and satisfying.It's also better to buy drinks from a vending machine and bring them in instead of getting frustrated when they don't show up when you order. It's funny to see everyone bring their own drinks to the cafeteria.I thought it would be good for families with children as they could play table tennis, karaoke, and play the piano.I think I was able to stay at this price by saving money by laying out my own futon, letting the last person turn off the lights, and preparing my own meals.I felt more beautiful when I took a bath in the morning. It was quiet at night and I slept soundly.

I was worried after reading the reviews, but the cost performance is so good. Some of the meals, such as white rice and water, are self-service, but I don't do anything like this! It was so delicious that you can't believe it.I could see that they were working hard to conserve electricity, and I was able to understand why the price was so low because of that, and I decided to cooperate.The location is quite steep from Gora Station, but you will feel a sense of accomplishment when you reach it.The hot spring is not an open-air bath, but it is spacious and I was satisfied. I went there 4 times over 2 days and 1 night.It's so quiet that you won't notice anyone else in the room. There were a variety of people, including couples, married couples, and families with children. Some people may be concerned about the small details like cleaning, but I don't really care.Miraculously, we were able to see fireworks, and there were many birds, which was very relaxing. I want to go again.

Conveniently located near Gora Station. The food was also decent. What surprised me was that the beer for dinner was available from a vending machine. This is a recommended accommodation with good cost performance in this area.

When I went there around 4:30pm, there was a waiting list.I thought it was inefficient because there was only one receptionist.Drinks for dinner can be purchased by yourself from a vending machine inside the hotel.

For this price, it's nice to have a spacious room with a toilet, air purifier, and plenty of outlets.The bed and futon are clean, but there are spider webs in the room, and the walls and blinds are full of dust.The hot spring was nice, but the changing room was full of hair.I wish there was at least a mop.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but it smelled strongly like a public toilet. When I talked to the front desk, I was told that such complaints are sometimes made, but since the building is old, it can't be helped.

The inn is a former corporate resort run by a former Mitsubishi Estate venture company, and although it is an old building and has minimal services, it was very reasonably priced. It's a tough climb up from Gora, so please do your best. Although the food was a little light, it was very delicious and luxurious Japanese cuisine. The fish grilled with miso and soy sauce, sashimi, sesame tofu with basil sauce, and boiled eggplant were very delicious, and the children were delighted with the assortment of fried shrimp, hamburger, spaghetti, sashimi, fried chicken, etc. I was satisfied with the free refills of rice. After dinner, we had a chance to do karaoke.We rented out a room that looked like a former karaoke bar, sang strong wind all-back songs, and scored idol songs, and had fun at a reasonable price.The interior is a little old and there are some stains on the glass and wallpaper, but the rooms are well kept. You have to make your own futon, you have to pay for toothbrushes and razors, and there is no bath in the room. In the public bath, the sauna was not in operation and it could be a little small if you were taking a bath with other people, but it was a nice bath with natural hot spring water.Breakfast was what you would call a ryokan breakfast. The tea and instant coffee were self-service, but the piping hot miso soup, boiled Japanese mustard spinach, salt-grilled mackerel, and nori tsukudani were very delicious.You can use a credit card for online reservations, but cash was the only option at the site.There were beer and juice vending machines, and it was OK to bring your own for meals. Although it was not luxurious, it was a very cost-effective accommodation.

There seem to be a lot of harsh reviews, mainly about the service, but considering the price of 10,000 yen per night in high season in Hakone, I think it's quite high when you consider the room, food, and location comprehensively. I think so.I get the impression that they have cut down on services that can be handled by a small number of employees to keep accommodation costs low.However, the quality of the rooms and meals is ensured, so I think this is a good match for those who don't think excessive services are necessary.The view from the window was great, and I could clearly see Mt. Daimonjiyaki, and the view at sunrise was especially great.Dinner was like a meal at a good Japanese restaurant, and the taste was very good.The Japanese breakfast was also very satisfying.

There was no hot water in the bathroom.The windows in the public bath were closed and I couldn't see anything outside, so it felt dark.As mentioned in the reviews, even though I called the phone every day at times other than check-in and check-out, I could not get through until the end.

The only beer available for dinner is Heartland.There are no convenience stores, liquor stores, izakayas, etc. within a short walk. Are the accommodations around you expensive or cheap? This one is cheap.The windows in the women's public bath were boarded up, making it a bit eerie. Meals at restaurants are very small. However, it was nice to be able to eat in a yukata.I brought some alcohol with me, bought some snacks at a convenience store near Gora Station, and drank in my room.Since it's eco-friendly, I have to buy a toothbrush for 50 yen.
