I posted a review on Agoda and it seems to have been deleted, so I'm writing this to warn you. The images posted on Agoda are not accurate, so it seems that there are many cases where the actual room you stay in is different from the posted image. There are only two rooms on the first floor that have ceramic bathtubs. Be very careful when booking through Agoda. This is an inn where you lay out your own sheets and make your own bed. Since the mattress and comforter are the same sheets, making a bed with a comforter can be quite difficult even for the average person who wants to do it well. (This will be especially difficult for people who come from overseas and stay at this type of facility)For this reason, it is thought that there are many people who use comforters and mattresses instead of sheets. Because it is a simple lodging facility where all Japanese guests can give an OK sign, I think it is actually difficult to clean the room thoroughly enough to get the OK sign. Even if you don't want to, you can always see the hair and large pieces of dust from the previous guests, and even if you don't want to, there are things such as rollers and vacuum cleaners that can be touched by the guests inside the building. (There is no such thing, so I think it will make a big difference if you just open the window when you leave.) For that reason, we recommend that you always use the two sheets provided for hygiene. (The first image is of my bed taken when I left, and the second image is of my bed right after I made it. I made my bed so that my body was in contact with the top and bottom sheets. I stayed alone, so (The right side is not used)Regarding the accommodation tax, if you are staying alone, it should definitely be 200 yen on most dates, unless there are special cases such as during the busy season when the accommodation fee will be tens of thousands of yen, so the instructions say 400 yen. If you are staying alone, please check if you are staying alone as the calculation is for 2 people.Regarding the negative aspects that others have written about, I don't know about the smell as I didn't stay on the first floor, but at least my room on the third floor had no problems. Since the rooms were fully booked, I took a shower in the morning when everyone was starting to move, as the noise and smells would be transmitted to the floor below. (The golden rule is to be careful.) The management has probably read the past reviews properly, and the hangers and curtains are already in place, so the requests and problems of past guests have been improved each time. I think there are.Regarding the smell, the instructions said, ``When leaving, open the windows and doors to help circulate the air,'' so if the smell is trapped on the lower floor, it may be a structural problem with the building. . Therefore, if you are sensitive to smells or are concerned about them, guests may have no choice but to ventilate the room voluntarily. (However, you won't know how bad the smell is on the first floor until you stay there.I was disappointed because I thought I would be able to stay in a room with a bathtub on the first floor. The cause of the problem was Agoda explained to me that it is a collaboration with another reservation site that is sandwiched between Agoda and the facility, but I don't really understand what they mean. If you are particular, we recommend that you avoid using Agoda.)Also, some people who use rooms that require climbing up and down using ladders may be the type of people who jump, even if only lightly, when they get down to the ground, but in this building, the slight jump is unbelievable. It's so loud (at first I thought it was the guests in the next room dancing, it was so loud it was like the ground was rumbling), so please step down carefully until your feet touch the ground.Overall, I think it's a very comfortable place to stay, but for people who just want to be comfortable, these simple accommodations aren't suitable in the first place. Even the things you do as a habit can be a big nuisance to the people around you. This is not a facility where only easy-going people from overseas gather, but this is Japan, and this is a building in Kyoto, so no matter where the users come from, each one of them has respect for the building and gratitude for the people who run it. I want them to leave the facility in the same condition they arrived in, and I think that's the way it should be if this facility is to continue to operate for a long time.
