We spent the night at the mix dorm room. It's definitely a nice place to stay. The host can speak English, which is convenient for the tourists. The bathrooms, toilets, smoking room, and laundry room are there for the guests to use. They also have a kitchen and all the appliances that we can freely use. Just make sure to keep all clean.Definitely recommend!

Iwatoyama Hostel(岩戸山ホステル)、〒600-8445 Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, Iwatoyamachō, 421I was initially surprised when I arrived! There's no one at reception! What minutes we spend a young boy and arrives with a smile is apologies! My surprise was great when I arrived on the 4th floor! A fairly large room with 6 beds, shower and sink for the 6 beds! Very clean, quiet with a fridge and a locker for personal belongings! The 2 toilets Very clean outside the rooms! The fairly large kitchen on the ground floor! An elevator that is silent!Highly recommended!

I think it was a great deal and the bed space was just the right size. I thought. This time I was looking for something price-oriented, so it was just right.I stayed for 2 nights this time, but due to a mistake by the staff, my bed was cleaned on the second night. At that time, my personal clothes that I had left on my bed were thrown into a trash bag and left in front of the coin locker in my room. Will the room change between the 1st and 2nd day? When I panicked and checked with the front desk, I was told that the cleaning staff had made a mistake in cleaning the bed and put the items left behind in a plastic bag.It also appeared that the locked locker had been opened without permission. The staff at the front desk didn't seem to know about this until I returned to the room, and they apologized, but I wish they would have at least checked or contacted me if my luggage was left there during cleaning. The only thing that saved me was that nothing was stolen, but I was pretty disappointed.I understand that it is different from a normal hotel, but I think things like this should be improved.

During a family trip during Golden Week, 4 people used a room with 3 beds and 1 sofa bed. There is no power source around the sofa bed, so it is difficult to charge smartphones, etc., the sofa bed is not as comfortable as a bed, so those who are unlucky to hit the sofa bed will not be able to recover from fatigue sufficiently. Although there were some issues such as not having enough bedding, I really appreciate the dedication of the staff, as they rushed around to stock up on bedding and always greeted me with a smile at the counter at the entrance.Best of all, it is located in the center of the city, with restaurants, convenience stores, public baths, and coin laundry nearby, making it an excellent location with easy access to various areas. I think this is a good choice for those who want to enjoy Kyoto's famous sights and food and drinks to the fullest without worrying about where they sleep.

Good location, clean. The staff speak English. Besides, there is a lot to do. Two bathrooms upstairs very small. There is one shower in the room, also small.

Book for 3000 yen per nightDue to business, check-in was at 23:00.A late fee of 2,000 yen was charged. It seems to be 500 yen for 30 minutes after 9pm.This must be communicated to the customer at the time of bookingIt is not fair to notify you via email at 9pm on the same day.I want you to stop this frivolous business. The second floor of the bunk beds is so narrow that my head touches the ceiling when sitting in a gymnasium. The heating was so hot that I couldn't sleep.I don't recommend it to anyone
