Good value hotel in a good location. It was centrally located with easy access to the shopping street and several bus and train stops. The room was good considering the price.

A budget hotel with good service. Situated in a quiet area but close to Nijo station and next to the market

Well the location of the hotel is very good. Close to a big market. Our room on the first floor was dull, window facing a wall, so the view wasn't great at all. On the second night, I was severely bitten on my ankles and upper tighs (could be bed bugs as there were nets on the windows, so I don't think it were mosquitoes). What I liked about the place, though, was that the reception was manned, and they all spoke English and were extremely helpful and accommodating. There were washing machines, and staff provided washing liquid and another very helpfulthing we could dry the clothes in the bathroom. There was a dining area as well which was kept very clean.

An excellent hotel, apparently quite new. The room has everything you need, there is enough space for two. There is a laundry room where you can wash your clothes for free, and the bathroom in the room is equipped with a dryer, on the ground floor there is a dining area where you can heat up food bought in a konbini and eat it there, there is a smoking area at the entrance, there are vending machines, the staff is polite and speaks English. What more could you ask for?

The best accommodation we stayed in on our trip to Japan. The private room and bathroom, very clean, with fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Free washing machines are available (they give you soap) and in the bathroom there is a drying function so you can hang your clothes and dry them. The two reception people we dealt with were very friendly, communicative and decisive. If we return to Kyoto we would love to stay there again.

I stayed there 3 nights. It is a quiet place in a non-touristy area but only a 5-minute walk from Nijo station, which is an advantage for me as I don't like crowded places.

This is a standard business hotel room, with flame-proof textured wallpaper and an integrated bathroom/bathtub/heater. Although the room is not big, it has quality. There is a shared kitchen on the first floor, and there is a free washing machine on the floor. You can get laundry detergent at the counter. The three counter staff I met recently all speak Chinese. The nearest supermarket is two minutes away, the relatively large Seiyu Supermarket is about five minutes away (there are many types of beer, and there is a very good 100-yen store upstairs), and the famous Takagi Wholesale Supermarket is only ten minutes away. From breakfast to late night snacks, there are shops to choose from in the shopping street. It takes 8 minutes to walk to Nijo Station (JR/Subway) and 12 minutes to Omiya Station on the Hankyu Line. This hotel is really suitable for tourists who want to experience the life of ordinary people in Kyoto or go to Arashiyama.

Really small rooms and cleaning is not included during the days of stay.I liked the location, very quiet and characteristic.Another service that is not provided is breakfast. If you want to send your suitcases you have to go to the local Family Mart because the hotel doesn't do it.
